I thought he showed some potential at times last year, particularly after they fired Krueger into the sun; but he’s been a JAG at best this year.

I’ve seen little encouraging from Mitts. Obviously the injuries threw a wrench in his season, but he’s been largely useless since coming back.

I've used the term "blossoming" with regard to Dahlin several times over the past few weeks, because to me, that's exactly what's happening. He's shown glimpses of what he could become in drips and drabs the whole time he's been here, but it was usually followed by a several games of "wtf is going on with this guy?" Over the last six weeks, he hasn't been perfect...obviously, no one is, but he has been excellent most nights and the "wtf?" games are more isolated incidents as opposed to a trend. As the team grows around him, he is going to be elite...like top-10 defenseman in the league. I'd agree that he's the best player on the team right now. I am thoroughly enjoying watching him come into his own.

That was fun. Definitely feels like they're growing up/growing together. There'll still be bumps in the road as they continue roster building, but it feels like a corner has been turned.

Nah, Jack. I’m pretty sure we’re almost all quite happy with Tuch and Krebs. It’ll be even sweeter when Tuch gets that “C” on his chest and does it proud. You have never elevated anyone around you. You’re an immensely skilled guy that lacks leadership and humility. Have fun on your new team with its aging core and impending cap issues.
