  1. I was basing it on the Buffalo metro area which apparently is 886,000. Calgary doesn’t really have a metro area
  2. You gave one example - there are many, many teams in the past who have gone through the process of being too old, and having to get younger, despite your claim. No idea what you're talking about with the "sales job" - they legitimately are the youngest team in the league.
  3. In my opinion we will make the playoffs next year. Our young players will have another year of experience, while other teams will continue to age out a bit.
  4. And you know this how? None of us can predict at this stage how these young players will turn out - they're prospects. Either with our franchise or someone else.
  5. IMO there's no way Levi is in Rochester next year, he's our number two. Goaltending has become the least of our problems.
  6. We can gain 2 on the Islanders and 1 on Philly. Keep chippin' away
  7. I don't know about the stats on that, but the Leafs had one a couple nights ago
  8. Scored tickets to Neil & Crazy Horse this summer for an outdoor show at a beautiful location!
  9. I'll be wearing my retro blue CCM Rick Martin jersey. Sec 306, Row 7
  10. Yes, it is an amazing place to live. Could have gone golfing today, it was beautiful out.
  11. I finally get to see this good, young team in person tomorrow for the first time in a couple of years. Pretty excited as it's a meaningful game.
  12. Wish this one was on TV for me - sounds like a nutty start. Keep the pedal down boys.
  13. 7pm game time out here on the west coast for me. Looking forward to seeing the boys in person tomorrow against the Canucks. They haven't been playing great lately, but Tocchet will have them going. Will I get UPL or Levi?
  14. Ah, so we're going to do the grammar police thing? Okie-dokie
  15. Saw many Wheat Kings games in the 70s-80s. Lots of Blades and Pats as well.
  16. Wow, how rude. I'm born on the prairies where hockey players come from, grew up in a small town rink, played my first tournament at age 4, and know at least as much about hockey as you Mr. Classy.
  17. I know plenty about goalies, what a strange thing to say. Yes, that's an ideal situation, but at times a teams goaltending situation is in a temporary state of flux. You don't get optimal situations all the time. You work through it. Your goaltenders are professional athletes. You see what you have, then you make decisions.
  18. Whatever that is supposed to mean. Your opinion is no more valid than mine.
  19. I think you're overstating how "hard" it is on them. They're pro athletes, they'll be fine. If you don't know what you have with your goaltending, the way to find out is playing them, simple as that. Otherwise you could make a terrible mistake, such as trading UPL.
