Agreed he is slow as heck going post to post, it is like he freezes if the puck changes direction and then panics and goes starfish to the ice or just does not react.

Given up 5 goals on 19 shots still alot of time left in the 3rd.
Another goal scored while UPL was laying starfished on the ice after being fooled by a deke 6 goals on 20 shots, 10 mins left in game.

UPL is awful, my goodness he makes Carter Hutton look like Hasek he is soo bad. I have yet to see this guy look good in any game he has ever played in.

Nope sorry but not trying to fit into anything, this is just a forum to me nothing more, maybe it is more to you and hey good for you if it makes you happy, but to me I see it as a forum to talk about the Sabres during the season and it ends there.

You have to judge which is better practice time with possible playing time with Buffalo or Playing time in Rochester. I for one think Brett Murray would be better served in Buffalo practicing and learning the system even if he was sitting games, but that is just me and we shall see.

I was wrong about this guy, and I am glad I was. Top Notch effort guy and is showing great leadership skills and paired with my favorite player Girgenson they are a dynamo on the ice and fun to watch.

I think Will is better then Joki at making shooters take tougher shots and he takes more chances in the offensive zone, but my worry is his chances sometimes come in conflict with his zone coverage or forechecking. I still believe he is a great fit for the gameplan.
Now on the flip side I have never been a fan of Henri Jokiharju and never saw what people where so impressed about when it came to him, other then he was young, but admittedly he looked good in the first game, but to me the jury is still out on him.

Today you get to show your strengths and how you are a better fit in a Granato Gameplan then a Lindy Gameplan.
Look for a willing body to block shots and for him clogging shooting lanes, and him making a few great passes on the offensive side.
Weakness is he is not a good on puck defender and can not carry a puck out of a defensive zone.
Prediction:
2+ Shot Blocks
1 Assist
Might see him on 2nd Team Power Play as well

Not a insider or anything by no means, but Mark Jankowski is a quality 3rd-4th line player, with Casey out for a bit someone might be coming up quicker then anticipated.

Nope I never asked anyone to join me, I am confident in my assessment of what I have seen in this years team so I posted for once, you feel challenged because you and your 25,000 posts can not back up your beliefs and get mad, but it is ok man it's all good, I will enjoy this year no matter what but I am 10000% confident in my statement.
Post counts mean nothing to me, confidence in a prediction or confidence in backing what you preach means alot more, but thanks for the beer have a great night.
p.s. In fairness I use to tell friends on how bad Okoposo was.....I will gladly eat crow on that one. Girgensen hands down is my type of gritty 1000% effort guy.

Sorry but I have had way more important things to do in my life and hockey (Sabres) is my escape from real life and just enjoy something win or lose, but still enjoy a game and be entertained, something I think alot of people fail to do.

I never post and usually just read but I am soo tired of the negativity of the Toronto Trolls posing as Sabre fans.
Seeing how you do not think we are a playoff team and I do I changed the title because I see the progress and see players playing both Offense and Defense that has been missing for years.
