    a wee bit 🤣🍀

Sir, I’m clearly outmatched by your humor. Enjoy your evening in the spotlight.
"I am hurt, but I am not slain; I'le lay me downe and bleed a-while,And then I'le rise and fight again."

Happy St Patrick’s Day to all on a miserable Sabres performance! 🍀🍺

  2. That’s certainly seems like the ideal situation. I hate overacting, so I’m not gonna say we need to trade everyone, Fire the coach and gm etc. But finding competent depth so we can keep the boys fresher later should be a goal, along with defense and a bit-o-grit.

See what i did there being St Patrick’s day and all? Lol.

    ok a lot more grit.

If the slide goes much longer, then I would shut down Dahlin, Samuelsson, and anyone else important who needs to heal for the rest of the season.

Also, now that we are seeing the results of it, I think it is clear that not rotating in Hinostroza, Asplund, etc. throughout the season for Peterka, Quinn, etc. just to rest the youngsters was a mistake.  They clearly have worn down physically and mentally and their effectiveness has correspondingly decreased.

I think this is a very astute observation. However, it’s a double edged sword. Play Asplund et al and our record suffers. Bench them and play Peterka and Quinn. Without rest we get this. I guess we still need depth. I thought we had it, but there’s work to be done.

You won't ruin anything. Levi isn't that fragile. You need to take some deep breaths.

    Deep. Breaths.

Respectfully, I have no idea how fragile he is, but I agree, keep him away from Boston. Where’s the upside? A win…. Big deal the season is over?
Or they get in his head? They will most certainly make a run at him. I am skeptical his teammates would stand up for him. Let him establish some chemistry. Don’t ruin him IF the season is over.

The fact is until Granato and staff come up with a game strategy to counter the heavy play against the Sabres the outcome 9 out of 10 times will be a lose. This isn't on the players, it's on the coaching staff.

You either learn to counter or die on the vine.

I agree, but I’d like to see some effort from the players.

  6. This thread is offensive. What if your kid made a mistake? You want it all over the internet…. No! I don’t see how this is even remotely related to our Sabres. I’d be mortified if it was my kid, but for the love of God, Danny was awesome for us. I’m disgusted with myself for clicking on it. We are better than this. Hey we signed Levi!

  7. My point was I am in favor of Tuch getting the “C”.  I did forget for a moment that Dahlin wears an A. Sorry, just had 5 vertebrae fused  on Monday and can be a little loopy from time to time.  I am against removing leadership positions unless it’s extremely warranted. If Zegmus stays I vote he keeps it, if not I would like it on Cozens. I going with the assumption Kyle retires so the C is in play. If Kyle stays he keeps it. Go Bills!

Tuch "C" is a big YES! Dahlin an "A" no. I would rather see Cousins

This is an interesting topic. Cozens has expressed an interest in leadership and appears to walk the walk. Love Dahlin, but haven’t heard about leadership off the ice. He definitely seems more vocal, which I think is important in a leader. But I’m with you, Tuch for our next Captain, Cozens gets an A. The other A to Thompson or Dahlin. But only after Zegmus and Kyle are retired or traded, although I don’t like trading leadership. Hopefully it falls into place with timing.
