    Bills fans here watched the team be a feeder for the rest of the league.  The only thing that broke the cycle was an owner who hired good managers and spent.  Lot easier to do in the NFL when you get a massive revenue sharing check every year and finally found competent leadership.  Do not see that happening with the Sabres right now.

    Of course we did for next season.  What we didn’t think was that under his ownership we would have 4 GMs, 7 coaches, a .324 winning percentage and a single handed dismantling of one of the great hockey cities in the United States.

    Everyone was all giddy about the return for Risto... i bit my tongue. Because that pick in return is only worth something depending on what we did with it & who he becomes. But if we wanted a goalie, we could've gotten Cossa or Wallstedt there & gotten a better (different) prospect in return for Sam from Florida. But instead we reached a little for Rosen & got back a 7th rd G prospect in Levi. When we already have UPL & Portillo & the 2 we could've drafted are better prospects anyways imho.

    Theres really way too much we could say & criticize but where we are today reminds me of when we tanked in the 1st place. Its like we've suffered thru all these years, just to end up at the same place where we started. Its just that back then we had no idea what our future held, whereas now we know its hopeless lol.

    This organization from top to bottom are horrible, Incompetent, uninteresting, unimaginable, joyless and soul sucking bad.  There is no way that there is even the littlest of thing that brings even the smallest bit of enjoyment to my life.  I wish I could get the all the emotions, time and money I invested in them the past 10 years back.

    Sports should be fun. This organization make me not only hate them, by myself for caring so much, for so long.

  7. Reinhart traded to Florida for G Devon Levi (7th rd pick in 2020) and a lottery protected 1st in 2022.

    Again:  if you think KA screwed this up -- how, specifically, did he do so? 

    If your getting back basically a 2nd round pick and a goalie who likely won’t ever play for you then don’t trade him.  Let him play next season and trade him at deadline for whatever.  At least we get to see him play for another 6 months, and maybe even slightly increase value from crap you got now to not as bad crap you may get later.

    If someone hits my car, I call the police.  If some kids shoot BBs at my dog, I'm calling the cops.   The Bible actually says that if a woman is being raped and doesn't cry out for help, then she is not be held guiltless.  There's even a story in the Bible of two priests attempting to rape a woman, and she place her faith in God and cried out for help.  The priests tried to frame her for another adultery, but she was proven true.  And the priests were stoned to death for attempted rape and perjury.

    1. Draft Power #1

    2. Trade Eichel for Ana #1(draft Johnson), Comtois, and another high pick.  Eichel's damaged goods.  Neck injuries can be brutal.

    3. Trade Reinhart to Seattle for #1 pick (draft Beniers), and agreeing to take Okposo.

     

    Don't take back more established players who will get taken by Seattle in Expansion Draft.

     

    Lather, Rinse, Repeat.  But this time we have three guys who are big players on a college team who play well together and in 1-2 years can step in and make a difference.

    Is there a HOF of awful takes for this board.  These last 2 posts of yours are 1st ballot for sure.

    im not saying he needs to be in locker room everyday, speak to media everyday.  I think wherever he is, to get on a Zoom call at least one time to address anything is not to much to ask a Captain/face of franchise player.

    How about he get on a zoom call just once, address the coaching change, make support the boys still here, address his progress, etc.  The face of the franchise who is invested in this team, his teammates and the organization would do that.  

    Considering how much has happened since he went away, the fact he has said absolutely nothing says a lot about where his mind is.  IMHO.

    This organization from top to bottom is making me hate hockey.  They can’t seem to get anything right.  The Pegulas seemed to always hire the wrong people at every level, draft the wrong players, and screw up so many decisions dealing with the fans and their experience.  I just don’t understand why this happens year after year.  The organization seems cursed or being fed a large helping of karma.  I have started to wonder lately if they will even be in Buffalo in 5 years.

    Is there anything they can do to make you optimistic for the 21-22 season? 

    I’d like for them to play the young players from here out. Mitts, Tage, Asplund and Bryson.  Let them make their mistakes, hopefully they improve and you get to see if there is any hope for them

    Maybe they should Cozens be moved to Center? Or put Mitts between Cozens and Hall?  AgAin with an eye for next season 

    I’m pretty optimistic for next season  I think they will be a playoff team  maybe even top 10
