Did anybody see/hear what the hell Roy did?
-
I love RJ, but sometimes I think he's losing it...
-
Was Peters a healthy scratch for tonight? I just heard that Mair and Primeau went at each other.
I haven't checked the official scoresheet and wasn't paying attention during pregame, but Peters has been nowhere to be seen tonight.

SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRE!!!
M-V-P! M-V-P! M-V-P!
-
SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRE!!!
M-V-P, M-V-P, M-V-P! And two fantastic plays from Vanek and Afinogenov. I love the smart hockey they're playing tonight.
-
Paille is playing extremely well tonight.
EDIT: I'll add Paetsch to that as well.
SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRE!!!
Welcome to Pominville, Toivonen!
-
DANNY BRIERE!!!!!! Wow. Double wow.
-
SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRE!!! Chris Druuuuuury or Paetsch? Who cares, let's see if they keep the heat on.
Edit: 'Twas Drury's 27th. That was a helluva PP.
-
Sheesh a fourth penalty already? Must be the Bruins heard it's easier to score on the Sabres when Buffalo has a powerplay.
-
Good thing it was a two-man advantage or they never would've scored.
-
SCOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRE! He's not Jochen around tonight. Great play by Max.
-
What a neat broadcast angle!
Nice individual effort from Hunter. It could be a looooong night, folks. :death:
-
Hasn't started yet, but it should be very soon, probably a little before 9.
-
The rail cam is terrible. And so is Versus' insistence on switching between three camera angles during the same sequence. And so is the broadcast camera angle in American Airlines Arena.
I guess I'm just full of negativity tonight. :)
-
One other thing...Did the referees forget that they are supposed to be calling all infractions? The game reminded of how things were pre-lockout. :wallbash: :wallbash:
It absolutely seemed that way. My roommate and I also counted several occasions where linesmen missed pretty obvious offsides calls.
-
I think we may. Like the BN said, Ruff likes resting Miller in games against mediocre Western Conference teams. But because everyone thinks that, he'll probably go with Miller.
-
He has been a real pain tonight. A lot of dirty play by Toronto tonight.
And the referees have allowed it all to escalate by not calling them on it.
-
OH WHAT A SURPRISE! ANOTHER PENALTY ON BUFFALO! And another uncalled dive on Toronto.
-
Way to kill off the 7-on-3, guys! :) Let's see if they can keep the momentum going now...
-
Kotalik goes "top shelf where momma hides the cookies!" What a shot!
-
Ouch. Laffs score one on a 7-on-3.
-
what protective measures are you talking about?? if you mean firewall/AV/etc protection, i'm golden... If you mean greasy fingers all over it, i'm golden (i have an old usb keyboard and mouse), if you mean surge protection, I'm golden. 3 year warranty... i'm golden... Now, if i could only gain access to the damn tech support page i'll be really golden.
back to the game. I like the way we're playing!!!
I think you've got all the bases covered...now you're ready for some hardcore gaming!
And yes, I think we're playing pretty well tonight.
-
Eh, wishful thinking. I'll shut my mouth next time.
-
And I'll add: What a purdy goal by Briere!
Oh boy, here comes a PP. Bold prediction: I feel a goal on this one.

I have no idea if the NESN guys are independent or not, but RJ is employed by the Sabres, which provides a good excuse for his homerism.
Anyway, a horrendous first half of the period for Buffalo, but I liked the way they were moving the puck the last seven or so minutes. Thomas looks shaky tonight, looks like the Sabres just need to keep shooting it on net.
