  1. If all these crybaby players are having this hard of a time with some boos can you imagine how they will feel if we actually had a hard ass coach in here like Torts, maybe even Gallant. I doubt we will ever get a top notch coach in here that would actually coach these guys hard, but boy it would be entertaining and comforting knowing these players wouldn’t be getting coddled behind the scenes anymore.

  2. Just another embarrassing loss today to a team you absolutely can not lose to. This team deserves EVERY bit of derision directed their way. I was glad to hear some booing at the end of this pathetic game. I’m still amazed people actually spend their hard earned money and devote 3-4 hours to attend these games in person. Watching on tv, no big deal. But you couldn’t pay me enough to actually attend a Sabres game anymore. Gave that crap up four years ago and haven’t had one second thought about the decision since.

  3. Thompson hasn’t been the same player since the midway point of last year. Just look at the stats. It’s night and day. He got injured last year and also teams figured out a better way to neutralize him. He has not been overly effective for well over a calendar year now. I highly doubt we will ever see the Tage from October 2022- January 2023 again. Maybe for small streaks here and there, but his league domination is gone.

  4. All I know is this latest idiotness from this losing franchise has made it soooo much easier to tune them out and care even less than I already did during this 13th wasted season. I can’t wait for Okposo to be gone and hopefully about half this current roster. If ever a roster and quite frankly an entire organization needed blowing up, THIS one most certainly does.

Of course it’s not the owners fault, or the GM’s fault or the coaching staff’s fault or the players fault. It’s the fans fault for this pathetic effort this year. And remarkably there are posters here who actually believe it IS the fans who are in the wrong here. Unfreakingbelievable.

I remember Samson to be a lot like you described Tuch.  Drive byes but not standing their ground hence putting Risto in front on ppps.  Nothing against Sam put he didn’t have the strength or bulk to hold his own.

Sam absolutely stood in front of the net and took punishment consistently wayyyyy more than Tuch has ever done. The vast majority of Reinhart’s goals in Buffalo were of the “garbage” variety. He’s still scoring that way in Florida too.

As the center goes, so goes Skinner.  When Jack (was) and  Tage (is) a threat, so is Skinner.  His D and checking game took major steps forward but have regressed since that “top” line has taken giant steps backward.   With Ralph I think he was judge-mental of the coaching - no idea other than discouragement what’s going on the last month or so.

I’ll be thrilled when Skinner and his asinine contract are off the books here. The sooner the better.

Dahlin blows and his body language is worse. Definitely not captain material

I’d disagree. I think Dahlin actually wants to succeed more than any other Sabre. He is used to excelling. That’s why he will most likely want out at some point because he will realize he’s wasting his career away in Buffalo like Jack smartly did.

  8. I believe the Kings have lost 11 of their past 14, something like that. But had just won their last game the other night. Sitting in a playoff spot at the moment but still make the move. It’s always amazing how other franchises are at a completely different level of expectation than Buffalo. Losing isn’t accepted in alot of places. It’s so common, plentiful and accepted by the Sabres.

Yeah but he has no problem dropping defensive coverage.

For a guy his size he’s a weak ass b****.

Power doesn’t have a nasty streak in him at all. I don’t know if that will ever change since that’s a personality issue. In comparison, Tyler Myers was very soft at the beginning. He has gotten a little more nastiness in him as the years have gone by, but even now he’s still pretty soft.

I’m more angry at myself for buying into the fallacy this team is good on paper.

I definitely don’t blame fans who thought this year would maybe finally be our breakthrough year after last seasons results. But I still blame KA for not doing enough to upgrade the team in the offseason and being satisfied way too easily. I was uneasy back in July when it was apparent we weren’t adding anyone meaningful to the roster. I started dreading this exact season coming. Where the next step wasn’t taken and it shouldn’t have been assumed by Adams that it would. He had the cap space and assets to do whatever he wanted. He chose to basically stand pat and count on progression of the youngsters.
