  1. I'm sorry but this is an awesome deal. I get the running backs aren't as valued anymore and McCoy has been heavily used at 26... But we have Preston Brown, Nigel Bradham, Mario Williams and, I assume, Jerry Hughes. Could bring back Spikes or bring in David Harris for depth.

You just acquired possibly the best running back in the game for a guy that didn't play a snap last year in one of the league's best defenses. I think we'll be okay.

Jason LaConfora, who basically hates Buffalo (always said they would be going to LA any chance he got), says that Kiko asked out of Buffalo.

Totally agree. Kiko came in to buffalo and became a legend. But the D was dominant without him and our running game was nonexistent. My first reaction was anger and disbelief but now I think it's a very good move
  2. I wonder what would make a quarterback pick Cleveland over Buffalo?

To me, Rex Ryan, plus Pegula bucks, plus that defence should make the Bills a more attractive destination.

Well I'm only speculating here but im willing to bet that we weren't offering him a 3 year deal. I'm pretty surprised that's what he got
  3. My brother-in-law, who is a huge Bears fan, actually had good things to say about the guy.

    I remain pessimistic about it.

To me all the options out there are basically the same guy. Just an average QB. Hopefully EJ shocks us all..
  4. Cutler will also pull himself from a playoff game due to a mystery injury. He's not exactly the stuff of legends.

Stuff of legends? I was hardly implying that. If I had my choice between Kyle orton and jay cutler, I'd go with cutler all day. Neither will be a buffalo bill next year so it's a pointless debate anyways
  5. He was a better quarterback in college and has been a better quarterback in the NFL. Cutler = Orton. 9-7, no playoffs. Healthy Bradford = 11-5. There is no time like the present for this team; it's time to take a stab at a good, not average, quarterback. If he ends up injured again, well, at least they tried. Cutler could end up injured, too, for that matter.

Cutler and Orton are not the same QB. Cutler has a cannon for an arm and isn't afraid to take a hit. Orton will slide for a 3 yard loss on 3rd down with the game on the line.
  6. I giggled a bit at the "don't go through north Olean anymore" bit. The entire city is about five minutes apart. It's worth the couple of turns it takes to get there.

That is definitely true. But I just keep forgetting about it. I think I'll try to get take out on Friday. I got one buddy who keeps going on about the place

  7. Oh boy....looks like Josh McClown will be the Bills next QB to battle with EJ. He was at the Sabres game last night...ugh!!! This really isn't cool. I would take Dirty Sanchez over this bum.

I think they also bring in another QB to compete. Either a rookie or another vet
  8. I know they weren't well received but I thought the 3rd jerseys were okay. If they're bringing out a new one next year I'm okay with that too. Some of the recent ones have been okay; wouldn't mind going back to the Pepsi themed one.

Those jerseys were/are the most hideous things I've ever seen. I'd like to know who was the guy who gave the "ok" on them. He needs to be replaced, preferably with somebody who isn't color blind
  9. For Stewart there has been talk all over the board. Boston, Calgary, Nashville, Winnipeg and more. Boston being the hottest rumor.

Then we have Neuvirth, Mitchell, Meszaros and Benoit that could command small returns.

Yeah I know basically everyone on the roster is available but that's just it, our roster is pretty terrible minus a handful of our young prospects. I've read that Boston has wanted Stewart for awhile now...
