Maybe they just didn’t want JBD and had eyes on Timmins. They are very similar although Timmins is much better offensively and you know how much the Sabres love their offensive defensemen. He probably did want to be there 🙄

That segment makes me believe that Adams will never trade Quinn. He was Adams first pick as a GM and he feels like a momma bird trying its best to get their fledgling baby bird to fly. He will never give up on him

Buying the Sabres was a stepping stone to buy the Bills. The extreme cost cutting with the Sabres was (along with dumping other business ventures) was to consolidate his finances to fund the Bills new stadium
