  1. The night is beautiful. Mrs. iT and I had our inaugural match of light-up bocce.

She still has physical issues to overcome so I let her fetch her own tosses until she was tired and then I fetched.

If you don’t own light-up bocce then you’re missing great fun.96A268A9-32BB-4432-A144-D4DAB77D142B.thumb.jpeg.2917783473448a2f1aa667e9f0f4e36d.jpeg

James Cook is the 2nd best RB on the Bills roster. Zach Moss lacks the vision, burst, and hands to be as dynamic as Cook can be. Here is a good breakdown of what Cook can and cannot do.

I appreciate this breakdown as far as I could watch. The stopped footage was helpful to pinpoint the vision and break speed that Cook has but in the narrator’s recap he should have let the clip run real time and reiterate his points rather than break it down again. I never got to see his final analysis in real time. I bailed halfway.

I agree with you 100% that Moss can’t do any of this. Cook’s diversity in position is something a crafty QB like Alllen can/will exploit.

Only a few tickets left.  Just grabbed a single seat for my boy.  If you want to go.  Get tickets right now.

I got free tickets to the second round when I renewed my seats early. Never thought I’d get to actually use them!

The union ticket sellers were all offered a free seat for the game but cautioned to act fast because they were most likely going to sell out. I thought that was pretty classy of them.

Otherwise who knows when more state money will fund it

I don’t think that state money should be involved. I’ve been in the camp that says sell for Tbucks and cash in on tax revenues. The BCA is too mono-cultural for the city to spend the money.
Pegulas do manage so they do bare the burden of diversification I suppose. It’s a shame, the city should be more involved.

Slightly different subject.  Have never been under Broad St, but have seen photos.  Need to check that out sometime.  Know several people who have proposed repurposing that space.  Some cool ideas & some just plain wacked out.

I was also in the old subway tunnel by BC building on South/Broad before they filled it in. The same scene.

The seats need replacing. But the Pegulas can’t be bothered. Sometimes I wonder if they even remember they own the Amerks.

This isn’t entirely fair. The Pegulas, not the City of Rochester, replaced the jumbo and the sound system. During the pandemic they refurbished the bathrooms and added the extra dining area on the concourse.

As for the seats, the fans are the ones who have trashed the seats. I wouldn’t replace them either after watching them out their feet on the empty seat in front of them. The seats aren’t broken or unsafe. My two seats are just fine.

There’s a lot more to the BCA and it’s operation that most people realize, and why would they? The terms of management are constantly evolving. The city doesn’t want to put any money into anything other than the actual Memorial downstairs.

Also little known to most Rochesterians, and it take a North Country boy to educate them, the Memorial, and the BCA, are built on an old bomb shelter.
The underworks are still there in some capacity.

It’s somewhat ironic that an outsider from the place that the Underground Railroad arrived at (literally at the church my granny went to) has had the honor to build and see the most historic parts of Rochester. I am also honored to provide the services that I do for the folks here.

We have a crew fixing the old railroad bridge over the river by High Falls. Part of Roc the River.

I wish I could take you all on a tour. Once  the Roc the River project is done you really need to get out and see it.

As for spraying, do you get ticks in your neck of the woods?  They are actually pretty dangerous as they carry Lyme disease.

Mosquitos/ticks are only a problem if you don’t dress properly. What about the ecological disaster of killing off pollinators.

Take a training course and get some bat houses if mosquitos irritate you.

Long pants and shoes for ticks. Why not?

Spraying is cruel to the cycle of life.
