Better to have him on the ice than Ellis, Porter, or the pylon that is John Scott. Kills penalties and has a scoring touch. Good team guy and lockerroom presence as well. Pominville and Miller were practically demanding that the Sabres sign him. If Grigs out plays him, then Grigs plays. However i think he's way more likely to outplay Ellis, Porter or Scott, not Hecht. When it's said and done, we can always let him walk come summer. No big deal. 48 games is a sprint.

Hillarious. If a Bobby Ryan trade could be pulled off though, then we'd have a top 6 power forward. Though the Nash trade makes me think it won't happen, what with everything CBJ demanded Think it's better for him to be in the finnish mens league? or adjusting to NA in the AHL?

I wouldn't completely count Flynn out... as long as he keeps up his AHL performance. Could be one of those late-bloomers. I'm just overly excited about Girgensons. Love the way he plays. I think he could be NHL ready after one AHL season potentially, but 2 years will probably do him well. Agreed. I like Ott at center though. Vanek - Grigs - Poms Foligno - Ennis - Stafford Leino - Hodgson - Armia Adam - Ott - Kaleta I like the look of 3 scoring lines. Switch out Adam with Scott when we play Boston.
