Haha, and I'll add to that prediction that the pass will be right in front of our own net. I think Buffalo will come out flying tonight and in fact play a similar game to the one that worked for them on Wednesday....be aggressive and not timid against this team. We didn't give them much respect last game, and although it sucked that we had to come back bascially 3 times in the game, it worked out in the end. I say 4-3 Buffalo

we just got screwed with that goal...they should have blown the whistle and they didnt, and that allowed Eaves to hack it into the net even though Biron covered it..........BS! And the one in Toronto didnt count because the referee "meant to blow the whistle"...whats the difference!

I agree, this game was a little different but still obviously not enough of a complete effort. It did get interesting at the end but it's a 60-minute game. I think we are showing signs of breaking out of the "slump," but Ottawa is coming up and they could quickly put things back into a tailspin

Our defense is pathetic! I have said that all along. Where's all the people that told me it was ok that Darcy didn't acquire some help on defense at the deadline??? My vote for worst performace of the game: Talleeender, who is a -3 right now.

NO MORE FLOATING tonight. I want to see all of the players playing with emotion and desire. There have been way too many passengers the last 2 games. That's what I was thinking about too, but certainly there is enough leadership on that team to handle things and get the team focused enough for a better effort than a 5-0 loss.....right?

I don't see anything wrong with what Peters did....the dumbest thing you've seen in a long time??? Get a tape of the Ottawa game or the first 2 periods of this one, and watch every defenseman on our team...that's the dumbest I have seen in a long time

Well since everyone is apparently watching law and order, I will use this chance to rant...I am so sick of the "new" NHL officiating....the referees do everything they possibly can to stop physical play...hitting and fighting are part of hockey, and it really pisses me off when you see what happened to Peters...he barely touched somebody and they give him 2 for roughing, 2 for somethin else, and a 10 minute misconduct....FOR WHAT?? That is a complete disgrace. Anyone else agree? So basically Campbell and Bettman and the NHL are encouraging just going and attacking someone....he only would have gotten a few more PIMs anyway, so why not? its better than getting all that just for talking

I agree that you have to be careful of going nuts over 2 bad games, but at the same time you can't just sluff it off either. I think the most troubling thing right now, as someone else said, is not the fact that we're losing, but how we're losing....not much desire or intensity out there, and 8 shots on goal...that's an alarming stat

Yea, and I think the officiating has been piss poor for the 2nd game in a row...not that I ever think its particually great, but its been especially bad the last 2 games

That is, in fact, what happened...and the replay proved he had a case, but still you have to pay attention to the game. Can't blame him alone for the goal, because "Loodman" got caught up ice YET AGAIN. What is with our defense getting caught pinching the last 2 games. This game is eerily similar to the Ottawa game. I don't understand why we are playing uninspired, just plain stupid hockey. well, thats that. I think the most frustrating thing of all is this game was COMPLETELY WINABLE. Miller held us in this thing and we had some chances after we scored the 2nd goal, but we couldnt put it in the net.

I hope Peters gets Neil to go, because I wanna see Neil get pummeled into the ice, I hate that guy ...umm complete bonehead penalty by campbell...what is he thinking

The thing that bothers me the most right now is I don't see anyone on the Sabres playing with fire or emotion...it looks careless out there to me, and the score reflects that....Neil is running just about everyone out there, and no one is answering back. I wanna see some fire and emotion because this team looks like they are scared right now EDIT: everyone looks scared except for Briere....he is the only one that showed up tonight IMO, and he always does because he gives 110%

One of the reasons we have so many shots against us is our defense keeps getting caught pinching and Ottawa in turn keeps getting odd man rushes....funny that our defense keeps getting caught pinching considering we had 5 shots on goal...it's obviously not helping Ruff will be giving everyone a good talkin to. I guarentee we get it together in this game, we come alive in the 2nd and 3rd periods

I agreed until they called Heatley for "hooking"...I thought that was as weak as they come. But they are still inconsistent, I mean with the scrum earlier...Eaves started it and somehow he gets away without a penalty???

Well, let the penalty parade begin......why dont they just play the entire game on special teams :angry:

the sens are just carrying it into our zone so easily and we cant get past their blueline so we keep dumping it in and we still cant get to it....this goaltender isnt that good, but if you cant get shots on him you arent going to win

That play by Jay McKee is a perfect example of what this guy is all about. What a great job, and he takes a stick to the face for his trouble but he just shakes it off. Awesome. I hope we can resign him in the offseason
