  1. Just having a hard time with all Nolan has gone through and how emotional he was to be here and to see him treated this poorly really makes me ill. You are right I should not look back.

In all seriousness Chris, I lived in syracuse. Does heids hotdogs still have lines out the door??
  2. We have seen guys like drury, briere, miller, vanek, Ruff, etc leave this organization. I liked teddy but come on, we just locked up McEichel. Gmtm is a gm I can stand by and will. Good luck Teddy and best to you, now lets get this rebuild into high gear

  3. Ok, so we have locked up atleast 2nd pick in this years draft. There is nothing GMTM can do until the Lottery on the 18th. He has to be thinking to himself, we have either McDavid Or Eichel. Now he needs to focus on other players. Does GMTM go and trade for nhl ready players in this years draft or does he draft with the picks he has?? I think we need to take our 2nd first round pick and package it up for a solid winger or center. O'Reilly and Eriksson are the only 2 that come to mind that I think GMTM might be able to swing for in the draft. Any thoughts

  4. I would love Eriksson. He has had 3 - 70+ point seasons. He would easily be our #1 right winger. Just needs a change of scenery. Take Eriksson, Seindenberg and Subban for Stewart and a d or a pick. We will take on the salaries that boston wants gone.

  5. I don't think that GMTM is handling our young players any different than Darcy was. If Big Z is sent down to London for a 3rd year that will be an absolute joke. I don't care if he is getting 30 minutes a game, he needs to develop in Buffalo. Also I thought armia was suppose to be our big winger, How many years will they want to keep him in Rochester. This is the year to have all of our young players in Buffalo, give them one year to mend with each other, even if we are bad who cares. Get a great draft pick and go big in 2015-2016

  6. I am heading to the city tonight until sunday. The 2 places I always have to go are Grimaldis pizza (located under the Brooklyn Bridge) it is coal oven pizza that takes about 4 mins to make. A large is about $12. My favorite pub to go to is Gabby O'Haras. Its probably within 5 blocks of you. Excellent beer selecrion, great food and the bartenders are from Ireland, which makes for some good stories. Enjoy!!

  7. I can't predict what this free agency will be like. We all know sabres will have a top 3 pick again next year, so who does gmtm go after this summer. I think he can add some good players and we can still have a top 3 pick. I would add players that can help this year but more importantly help us next year. I think adding some guys like callahan and michalek will get the job done

  8. Cody Hodgson due for breakout season in 2012-13:

With six games remaining, Tampa Bay’s Steven Stamkos has 55 goals and a legitimate shot at 60.

Meanwhile, Tyler Seguin has taken over as Boston’s go-to scorer as a sophomore, leading the team with 61 points through 75 games. James Neal has been a revelation for the Penguins, nearly doubling his offensive production from last year and smashing his previous career high by 20 points. Carolina’s Jeff Skinner is on nearly the same points-per-game pace as last year’s Calder Trophy-winning season, despite missing 16 games to a concussion and two to suspension.

What do all these players have in common? They all train with Gary Roberts in the off-season.

And I have a sneaking suspicion that next year’s breakout player in the NHL will be Buffalo’s Cody Hodgson.

Not surprisingly, the newest Sabres weapon is also a client of ‘Scary’ Gary and whatever subterfuge has been out there in the past about Hodgson’s attitude can pretty much be tossed out the window based on the company he keeps in the summer. Simply put, Roberts does not mess around. What the former NHLer preaches is no less than a lifestyle decision, where players commit themselves to both rigorous workouts and nutrition rites involving organic food and the right kinds of it.

I loved this article, everyone should read it. I pray buffalo signs Hodgson to a 5-6 year deal. He definitely has what it takes to be our number 2, if not number 1.
