    Why would the Sabres be interested in a 31 year old who's numbers have fallen off of the cliff? 

     

    Adding older players on the downside is what you do when it's time to fine tune the roster, not during the early stages of rebuilding and not for the money/assets it would require. 

    Yeah, why would the sabres be interested in a player who had 42 goals last year. An injury ridden year has made his numbers fall off the cliff.

    2 things. I want Lehner to be a psycho, when is the last time this team had a goalie who could get pissed and back it up? I think he gets more motivated and aggressive in a good way when he gets pissed at the opponent. and wtf Bylsma? leave the lines alone, if anyone is a psycho its bylsma with his line changes every game.

    If Stamkos is available why cant we make a run for him. Eichel and Stamkos might be one of the best duos in hockey. Imagine Eichel carrying the puck and feeding those amazing passes to someone like Stamkos who could capitalize 9 out of 10 times. I would trade Reinhart, MCcabe and our 1st.

    Risto has 31 points and our other 6 defenseman have 43 total. We need a revamp on D badly. People want to say franson is bad, he at least has 14 points. Looking at that makes me sick. We need a Yandle type d-man badly. We cant be having just one good scoring dman.

    With Theodore playing well in Anaheim and the team surging without Fowler in the lineup could that make Fowler available? Anaheims Murray is on record saying he doesn't want to move Fowler but isn't that code for "it'll take a ###### ton to get it done" So what would it take?

    I think it would take Mcginn or ennis, mccabe and a 3rd rounder

    Disco Dan was on wgr today and they asked him what type of player would he like to pair with Eichel. He said he wants a body that can clear the front of the net and get into open areas to capitalize on Eichel. He said Eichel is going to carry the puck the majority of the time and he needs a good finisher. Well, Whose is that??? I dont think that player is on our team now. I would love to keep Eichel and O'Reilly off the same line because they can make up 2 great lines on their own. So do we try and draft this person or do we go for a big trade and if we do trade, who do we go for?

    Will be attending the game tonight. Believe it or not, whenever I go to a Sens game the fans honestly treat sabres fans with respect. They always ask if I am from Buffalo, they love going there because all the Buffalo natives are so polite to them.
