    I thought it was possible that Bailey might of had a chance on the 4th line but, I was wrong.

    I have been so used to the AHL team that we've been watching year after year that I forgot what a real NHL player looked like.

    I'm sure glad that they've made it more competitive and redefined what kind of a Buffalo Sabres * NHL* player will be stepping out on the ice this year.

    I'm encouraged to see we're going to look less and less like the AHL team we've been watching for the last 18 years.

      I thought Bailey had a chance but his edge work is lacking especially in the corners.  He gets knocked down way to easily and off the puck for a big man.  Difference is amplified when you compare him to a speedy guy like a much smaller Skinner.

      So true.

      I thought over the summer he would've made the adjustments after their exit meetings; however, it appears Bailey must not have understood what they wanted or he is not capable of getting to the next level.

      His height, and reach were a big plus, couple that with speed and thought for sure this kid can make it. To bad.

      It will be interesting to see if they trade like they did Baptiste.

      I'm sure they're both very disappointed but, the competition is thankfully getting better.

      Buffalo can't fool around and they know it. The fans will not tolerate much more.
