Center Ice on Directv does have most games in HD with the exception of two Canadian teams. That however is not the case when its the Saturday Night Hockey Night in Canada game as those are usually in HD. Directv also includes the NHL network with your Center Ice subscription free of charge so you don't need to subscribe to whatever tier its on like you would with Time Warner.
