This feels like a Sabre 7-3 win. Not sure why.
This will 100% happen. Everytime i have quit on the sabres this year they pull me back in. I expect us to be alive until the final week in the season. They live on torturing thier fans.
-
Looking forward to the score on Monday morning. See you all then!
-
I wonder if we will see how much they’ve actually quit

How much lake effect snow will buffalo be getting that day ? 🤣

What time of day is this and what day ? I may travel out to WNY that day
-
I’ll know by The first week of July

Stat of the day - the Buffalo Sabres have now gone 4714 days without playing in a playoff game and are basically eliminated from playoff contention now. Whether they make it or not next year, that number will be over 5000.. and fans still show up to support this

Dear Terry, Kevyn, and overrated coachOur system this year was to have a bunch of 20-25 year olds and then a few veteran 4th liners and 3rd line D-men who were slow and did nothing
MAYBE FOR A CHANGE MAKE A TRADE FOR SOME GOOD FIRST LINE PLAYERS LIKE WE DID 20 OR SO YEARS AGO. THAT ALMOST WON US THE CUP TWICE
Sincerely,
Possible future leafs fan

I feel like every time I open this thread the Amerks are winning. I feel like they’re on a 15-0-3 point streak right about now. Maybe it’s just lucky timing on my part

I’ve always thought dropping the gloves and fighting was stupid. I’m a fan of scrums and scrimmages after chippy play or when someone takes a cheap shot because that’s legit emotion

As an aside to last night, my friend had Schoop on. He said he only watched half the game and then went on to analyze the game. Unbelievable that it happened and he admitted it. Idk about you, but at my job, if I said I only did half my work, I'd be gone.
Schopp and bulldog are just two grumpy old men talking abysmal Sabres hockey. That’s the last thing I need right now- 1

The Canuck’s coach kinda looks like the guy the Sabres/bills just hired

Story of the season. Most Jekyll and Hyde Sabres team I can remember.
But the nice thing is they’ll beat Edmonton 7-2 on Thursday

Game of the year. This is a make or break. Win and stay in the race. Lose and it becomes almost impossible

Great out of town scoreboard as usual. Sabres should be in a playoff spot technically within a few days, is my prediction
We are in a new stage now, “math is unlikely” need not apply. We will be 2 points back after today with only 1 team in between. Caps schedule is ridiculously hard in a travel sense, and yes they have games in hand but when you have like 3 saved up your schedule gets ridiculously compacted down the stretch, which adds to the difficulty.
it’s our spot to lose. Keep playing at the pace we have been lately and we’ll snag it
This didn’t age well. This is why I’m never optimistic on here! 🤣

Oh yeah. So much suffering. 🙄
They’re playing with our emotions. A team that hasn’t made the playoffs in the last 12 years just happened to miss the playoffs by 1 point last year to the team that made an improbable Stanley cup run. Then brought back essentially the same team and started off terrible, traded 3 players and are now choosing to be in the wild card race. Don’t we all know how this ends?

I am tired from last night...LOL Will try to watch at least the first period. Would love a repeat of last night and be able to go to sleep with a 5-2 lead. LOL PLease!!!!!!
The Sabres will always put a dagger in our hearts. We will be tied 1-1 all the way into the third period. The canucks will score with 3 minutes left. You lose sleep and happiness and the Sabres lose 2 points

A loss tonight coupled with some bad scoreboard outcomes could bury them pretty quickly. I thought 3-1 on this trip could be enough but I am starting to think they have to go 4-0.
It ends our suffering much sooner lol

(They're already too far behind, but maybe the teams ahead will choke more than the Sabres do.)
They play most of the teams ahead of them at least 1 more time

Game of the year. If the Sabres win Id say they’ll go on a roll. If they lose I can see them falling too far behind

Well I guess if you're the Sabres this is what you want but man that was a dead dog of a hockey game. I've seen quite a few Kraken games and that was the worst I've ever seen them play. No fight left in that dog. Playing out the string and the warm weather has them thinking summer vacation. Glad I didn't go to it.
Sabres were adequate, but they really didn't have to be very much tonight.
Vancouver should be tougher.
I agree about Dunleavy. He's as flat as the Kraken played. Just dull.
We were spoiled with the best for so many years -
Somehow 3-2 feels worse than 2-1
-
Watching that guy laying on the ice was kind of awkward lol

All of this just to finish 1 point out 8th again. It’s coming

We play the capitals twice, red wings once, devils once. We are most definitely finishing 9th. It’s scripted
