Why exactly was Tim Murray expected to get more for our trash when even the love child of Helen Keller and Ray Charles can see that we're losing on purpose? Exactly what leverage did did you think he had in negotiations?
None of those teams had to give up anything for our loser players and had no reason to feel compelled to do so.

One more notch in the "Minnesota's my side bitch" column.
-
lol, pathetic
-
Good, I don't want to deal with Boston anyway.
-
Well im all the way pro tank, but i did want to seem growth on this team, and this has dissapointed me alot.
This sentence is hilarious. "Yeah I want the team to lose on purpose but I do want to see some growth too."
What the ###### do you think is going to develop on a team that's losing on purpose?
-
He was pretty much the only reason to keep watching the team this year. SMH.
-
Fantastic. C'mon Florida. Leapfrog Boston. you know you want to.
-
I "understand" it. I just want small victories to make something worth watching. To me, if the team is going to lose on purpose, what I want in return, at the very least, is victories over rivals while doing so. If my team is going to miss the playoffs, then I want Boston and Philadelphia to miss them too.
If not for at least victories over rivals, there is literally no reason whatsoever to watch the team until they're good again and all this losing on purpose ###### stops. Until, of course, the next cycle.

6 years? No wonder you don't get the tank.
I know all about "the tank." Loser fans for teams I've rooted for in other sports for way longer than six years have also tried to promote such things and I've been just as if not more forceful in expressing my disdain. Obviously it's pointless so I should just give up. But I'm not gonna take ###### from people like PromoTheRobot just because I want my team to beat a big rival, ok?
Great post. By the way, who is the #3 guy in this draft?
Don't give a ###### either way. ###### Philadelphia. And ###### Boston. Hopefully one of the losers we're losing on purpose for plays well enough so we don't have to hear about losing on purpose anymore.
-
Who cares at this point. Lose 'em all.
I value rivalries over losing on purpose, thank you very much. Sad that the guy who's only been a full-time hockey fan for like 6 years cares more about his team's rivalries than lifelong fans.
###### Philadelphia.
-
Dammit. I hate losing to these .

Good to see Good Neuvirth back, even if it's only a one-time appearance against the terrorist regime that is the Philadelphia Flyers.

Essentially when every fan immediately called him a "thug" after the trade it was obvious that there were always racial issues. 'Thug' is the new way to say 'n-word' without actually saying it (in many, not all situations). This is one of those situations.
What a stupid ###### thing to say.
I use the term thug if a player or person acts like a thug, because, you know, it's behavioral. There's no racial intent behind it at all and to suggest so is ridiculous. Richie Incognito is a thug. Logan Mankins is a thug. Cortland Finnegan is a thug. Ndamukong Suh is a thug. Jared Allen is a thug. Albert Haynesworth was a thug. Milan Lucic is a thug. Zdeno Chara is a thug. Brad Marchand is a thug. Matt Cooke is a thug. Matt Barnes is a thug. Patrick Kaleta is a thug. John Scott is a thug. Chris Pronger was a thug. Blake Griffin is a thug. Kobe Bryant is a thug. Bruce Bowen was a thug. Bill Laimbeer was a thug. Zinedine Zidane is a thug. Asamoah Gyan is a thug. Luis Suarez is a thug. Vladimir Putin is a thug. Richard Trumka is a thug. And many, many, many more. Don't wanna be called a thug? Don't act like it, then.
I find it annoying and infuriating that some people have taken a word that literally can apply to anyone who acts like it and have pigeon-holed it into thinking that the use of the word automatically implies racial meaning. Sick and tired of people like you taking words and changing the meaning entirely. If you hear the word "thug" and automatically think "n-word," guess what? You're the problem.

I find a certain charm in other teams who don't lose on purpose. So yeah, I take interest in other teams while mine does. Hey, if that's what they want, that's what they'll get.

I didn't even know Evander Kane was black until I Googled pictures of him after reading this thread.

If Enroth wins 4 games for Dallas in the playoffs, pick gets bumped to a second.
That's not happening.
-
Jhonas Enroth to Stars from Buffalo for Anders Lindback and a conditional third, according to source.

Kane better fix his attitude and quick. He's too good to be a prick and a douchebag. And I don't want to see the drama that seems to constantly follow him anywhere near this team.
Other than that, sayonara to Myers who hasn't sniffed his rookie campaign and Stafford who was languishing in Sabres purgatory.
-
Can't do too much about that. Damn.

I've never heard Rick sound bored. Never in 40 years. He sounds bored.
Why should he be excited? There is literally nothing to be excited about. The losers with the losing mentality are getting what they want. He's probably thinking, "I hope I'm still alive by the time these losers are worth even the slightest of ###### again."
That said, at least the goals have been interesting tonight. Stewart has been playing pretty well.
-
All I know is that after all this intentional losing crap, next year better start paying some real dividends otherwise I'm going to be furious. What we're doing now is disgusting enough to turn a new hockey fan off. Really killing my enjoyment of the sport. Hard to even root for a franchise who's being bad on purpose, to be quite honest. Despicable.
The losers are getting their way. It better start working much sooner rather than later. I have my doubts.
-
Eh. It's a little cartoony.
Not terribly offensive either way but I definitely prefer the old look.
-
Team's playing one of our biggest rivals and you still have people in this thread happy they lost.
SMFH.

The Calgary Flames are so admirable, unlike the team we root for that loses on purpose.
