I don't recall blaming Max for this game, except for that last three seconds, which I'll be happy to recap for you.
Max has his stick on Souray, and lets him go - Souray scores. I then mention it would've been nice of Max to honor his defensive responsibilities when he was responsible for the breakout by Montreal.
I don't remember saying anything about the rest of the game.
Either way I'm over it. Our fourth loss of the year, with a lot of injuries.
But I honestly don't think there's any reason to call people stupid for having an opinion that differs from yours?
don't worry, i'm sure he'll be hearing the exact same thing from lindy today...if he didn't last night.

jesus christ that was ugly. we'll get run right out of this series if they don't get their #%^$#! together. we were dominated in game 1, by the way, in case you forgot.
yeah these injuries are going to #%^$#! us up the ass once and for all if we don't see some herculean performances by the players we have left.

i would think the back to back games would have to hurt the team that is back on it's heels anyway, plus emery got friggin LUCKY last night with all the posts and whiffed shots. i can't believe i am saying something optimistic, but i gotta think the sabres put up at least 5 goals tonight. i am thinking it ends up about 5-3.

have fun everyone...i have to work all night...MAY catch the very end of the game, but it is doubtful. my girlfriend is sweet and she promised to call me with lots of updates. fortunately this does not happen to me often.

I've loved Max's attitude all year. Yeah, he still can't finish, but like Connolly, he came to play with a new attitude. Even the penalties he took earlier in the season showed a heart he hadn't displayed.
He seemed to lose that attitude during the losing streak, but he played well in Toronto, and incredible tonite. He's fast becoming a premier setup man.
Just an overall solid effort. I think that Toronto shallacking may have been the true wakeup call.
i'm not a huge max fan, but he really deserves some credit for the game he played last night. i still remember how back in the fall, lindy was trying to beat into his head that maybe his big breakthrough season would come as a result of him working harder to set up other players. all year long, i have been waiting for him to really take that advice to heart....looks like he finally is!
and briere is freaking awesome...cna't wait for the new jerseys to come out so i can get myself a #48!!

suddenly i am THRILLED that my trip east to catch the sabres will be vs. the caps...hopefully the building will be more than a little rowdy as a result of this cluster#%^$#! tonight.
