Well, I'm sorry to say I don't quite agree on that, simply because I believe that The Sabres are such a black hole scoring and offense-wise, that even the best and most talented 60 goal scorer would become a 40 goal scorer here. A 40 goal scorer would become a 20 goal scorer, and so forth. So when you look at it that way, we already have a ton of 20-40 goal scorers, they're just won't score them here :D

That basically goes for any Sabre though, doesn't it?

This whole situation reminds me of when I quit smoking. It took me a ton of tries. Even though I wanted to shake that habit so bad, I kept coming back for more. The Sabres are my smokes now, I desperately wish I could say "I couldn't care less" and quit on 'em, but I can't..............

I'm so utterly crapped off by this team, that I'm seriouslY doubting whether I actually want them to win another game?? They could lose 10 in a row, win one, lose another 10, win another, and that'll be reason enough for Regier to keep Ruff. If 15 losses in a row is what it takes, bring it on, if it's 25, hell let's get this show on the road, if it's 50 in a row - GREAT! Just as long as it gets Ruff fired!!!!!!!!

Drury's currently a -7 on the season. This experiment that is Ruff has got to stop, Drury is NOT that bad a player, I refuse to believe Ruff is not at fault for his disasterous play this year.

And they STILL can't score, god this has to be the most frustrating team I ever supported in any sport.....

Zigomanis - of course, who else? Probably the only guy on the Canes roster without a point, of course he scores against Buffalo. Oh well, hopefully they'll lose the next 25 and Ruff wil be history.

Good effort tonight, but it's 5 losses in 6 games. Hope they enjoyed their day off against The Caps, that game sure would've looked better in the W column right now.... :( Is it just me, or could Drury be a healthy scratch without anyone noticing?

Yeah, Max isn't eactly the guy you'd expect racking up the assists. Of course it's very cool that he's producing, but I'd feel better if 3-4 of those assists were goals.

This team has no right to lose on fluke goals, when they don't secure the 2 certain points against teams like The Caps, simple as that. They're playing themselves out of a playoff spot, and I can help but blame Ruff. It is his job to keep his team fired up, and as usual he fails miserably. This team is nowhere near good enough to take nights off, and if he can't get that message across, it's time he got replaced with someone who can. But this is The Sabres, the franchise that fires noone, and where consequence is something out of a dictionary. Further, I'd like to hear Darcy's excuse for missing the playoffs in this "New NHL". I mean, this is the exact NHL he's built his team for the past 4 years, and guess what Darcy? They're STILL as crap as ever. October was a fluke, here come the REAL Buffalo Sabres.... :angry:
