I wrote about UPL (even called him 6K3U) in March. Then again in the goalie expectations series of threads. Just sayin’. 😂 But, a quarter of a season is, well, a quarter of a season. It would be awesome if he kept this up.

I love snow. Lots of it. Had to drive through some squalls on the way back to WNY last weekend. Loved it. Had a smile on my face the whole time. I hope we get crushed this winter.

I think it looks bad only for the reason that if they don't use some of their cap space to pick up someone before the season ends (even a rental at the trade deadline) to help them on the ice, then I will have a hard time being convinced that they are actually trying to make the playoffs this year. Now, if they are solidly in a playoff position at the deadline then,... well, I would still want them to pick someone up.

But, he is from Buffalo.

That’s what I notice. I didn’t know he talked about it in the off-season. He is much more active in the crease.

He made a play at the point where passed the puck to himself around a guy, I think off the boards,… wtf?! Pretty amazing. As soon as my 48 hour blackout is over, I want to rewatch that to see if I am remembering that correctly.

I can't remember who it was that said she hated writing, but loved having written. I think it was Dorothy Parker, but she most likely stole it from someone else.

By starting. I usually schedule it and make it finite. “I’m going to work from 8 until 10. Then, I’m going to reward myself with a Manhattan and watching Letterkenny.” If I’m not feeling it, I’ll end at the time I said and feel satisfied that I stuck to my plan. If I am feeling it, I’ll work until 1 and be even more satisfied. Also, make sure there are no distractions. Nothing worse than making lots o progress and then the message ding goes off on your phone and kills all creativity.

I didn’t know that 21st Century Schizoid Man was a cover for a long time. I bet they were great live. Plus, they had those awesome, Todd Rundgren-like vocals.

I don’t know about legs sideways, but I do know he was completely turned around and puck watching, when he should have been looking to see who was coming to put that puck in our net. All of our D do that. It’s frustrating. Play the player, not the puck. See above.
