Did I just hear Lindy Ruff say his own opinion doesn't matter?
It was a back and forth with whoever asked who should go, the coach or the players. He said who do you think, and the reporter said his opinion didn't matter and lindy said his opinion didn't matter == that's a real rough recreation of the conversation.

Vanek just said on TV that the Bruins "wanted it more." This from a "core" player on a team that has yet to win at home. I'm sorry, but shouldn't the Sabres want it at some point?
-
Maybe we should try to get the #1 overall pick...
Based on their performance so far, that seems to be the strategy.
-
I don't care if Lindy stays. I don't care if Darcy stays. The only change that I want to see at the end of a this season is Tim Connolly gone. I don't ever want to see him in a Sabres uniform ever again. He is Grey Cloud.
If there's a God in heaven!

As soon as Regier grows some balls .
That won't happen in our life times. So can we get a two-fer? Lindy and darcy?
-
So when does Lindy get fired? Any thoughts?
-
Good maybe he will be able to be traded for a higher draft pick.
We can only hope and pray

Stafford pulls an A-Rod, scores an meaningless goal and pads his stats.
Stafford's agent isn't complaining.
-
Wow -- a goal -- how did that happen?
-
What could we get for a Miller trade?
Probably not enough to make a difference

I am not sure Boston even is trying very hard looks like they are coasting barely breaking any sweat. Their system covers any chances we almost get. Now McCormick finally throws them down while the rest of the team adjusts their pantyhose.
I'm in total agreement, but you can't blame the Bruins. They don't need to break a sweat, considering how badly the Sabres are playing.
-
This team looks like they have never played together before. Bad, positioning, anticipation, timing, and what about execution, with this team I am in favor of it.
Start assembling that firing squad.
And please aim at Larry Quinn
-
The situation with the Sabres is worse than that of the Bills. At least the Bills play only once a week.
-
It's official, the wheels have come off. Fire Lindy, Darcy and Larry if it's possible. These guys are horrible.
Lindy will be the first to go -- then Darcy, eventually. But, unfortunately, Larry Quinn is a part owner and is here to stay as long Tom G. is owner. And as long as Larry Quinn has his hand in this mess, we, as fans, are totally screwed.

I smell a coaching change
Who could turn this collection of underacheivers around?
Something's got to give, but I don't know who is available.
I still think the problem is larry quinn/darcy, but I also realize that it's the coach who usually faces the firing squad.

That is fu*king awesome. Did she get to leave the set in makeup? That would be awesome. Going to dinner with a zombie. Sitting and ordering a rare steak, a really rare steak.
Do you have any pics to posts?
They filmed in Toronto, and I stayed home in Virginia.
Here's a photo of her that I lifted off the internet. That's her on the right.

If the show is half as scary as the performance of this year's edition of the Sabres -- it's going to be a monster of a show.
By the way, my wife was a zombie extra in George Romero's Land of the Dead a few years back. She even got a credit.

People are who, things are that. And prudence is the better part of valor.

There are many cities in the NFL that can't understand why Buffalo has a NFL team.
Is Atlanta a hockey hot bed? No! I will bet there are many fans in Atlanta that feel as strong about their team as we do about the Sabres. They may not have the numbers, they still exist. I don't want to see any fan lose their team.
You're absolutely right. It would be very sad for the scores of fans who attend Thrashers games if their franchise were to leave Atlanta. But stuff happens, and if I owned the team and saw that empty seats outnumbered paying customers by a wide margin, you can bet that I'd try to protect my investment and start looking for an exit strategy. Ultimately, sports is a business. And business owners are in it to make money, not to provide a public service.
-
The city may not, don't forget there are hockey fans down there that do.
Using that logic, aren't there fans in Canada who deserve a hockey team?
-
The city may not, don't forget there are hockey fans down there that do.
I'm not trying to be combative, but if that's the best the Thrashers can do in terms of attendance, then ownership should reconsider their location.
-
Wow, that's an empty arena...
Just started watching the game on the DVR and that's the first thing I thought of. I'm not sure Atlanta deserves a hockey team. Send 'em back to Canada.

unfortunately, I don't get the post game show on center ice. I wish i did

oh well, same old sabres.
