Virtually all 17 of those venues have undergone major renovation projects in recent years or are about to. Just last month, a $250 million renovation was announced for Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. The home of the NHL’s Flyers and NBA’s 76ers opened in August 1996 – one month before KeyBank Center.’
