Sabres assign Nylander to Team Sweden

‘Nylander (6’1″, 192 lbs., 3/2/1998) has led Team Sweden in points at each of the last two IIHF World Junior Championships and tied for the tournament lead in 2017 with 12 points (5+7) in seven games. The Sabres’ first-round pick (8th overall) at the 2016 NHL Draft, Nylander has totaled 34 points (12+22) in 79 games during his first two professional seasons with the Rochester Americans (AHL).’
