Both Chad DeDomincis and Jeremy White posted cryptic tweets about the Sabres today leading to speculation that a front office change could finally be on the way.

 

This tweet has something to do with Stranger Things, apparently the clock is shown when a character is about to die. I am one of the few people that has never seen the show.

Chad’s “nevermind on most of this” (ie the bit about nothing being imminent) is pretty hopeful 

real smoke.

Please, please tell me the the decision doesn’t hinge on the 2 games this weekend against the 32nd place Canucks and 25th place Kraken

It reminds of the time the brand new scoreboard /clock fell to the ice. Out with the old, in with the new?

Context of what "Nvm on most of this" was referring to:

 

"I've heard nothing concrete"

Hate to say it, but let’s hope they drop the Vancouver and Kraken games. It’s for the greater good. Winning both would ultimately be bad for the long term health of the team.

Terry is so happy with how well the 3 goalie rotation is working that he's going to hire a 3rd GM to work alongside Adams and Jarmo.

If it happens, by far the most likely outcome is that Jarmo gets the job.

If it is Jarmo, and he doesn't fire everyone, then we'll be stuck in business as usual mode and they will continue to stink.

If he does fire everyone, there will be some hope.

Fired: Apparently never.

In between: No playoff appearances, little in the way of hope, lots of fan unrest, and the occasional article like this one.

Signature move: Definitely the Jack Eichel trade, and everything that led up to it.

Bottom line: It’s always dangerous to put somebody on a list like this when they’re still building out their body of work. Maybe this looks bad in a year or two. Let’s just say that right now, I’m not getting that vibe.

I don't mind Adam's having another role in the organization. Hopefully it's just not higher up in the hockey department. 

Give him some kind of a hybrid role where he talks to the hockey people and works on the business side of things. Just they really got to flush out this entire front office.
