‘In my mind Pominville is a typical Lindy Ruff choice for captain. It’s no different than Stu Barnes. Both are very good examples for players on the ice that give their all. They don’t take shifts off and the team has trouble winning when they aren’t playing. They both are stand up guys and both take the heat for teammates and hold themselves accountable after EVERY game. This team has a huge problem with that as many run and hide after games forcing the same few to explain away losses every game.’
