Sabres visit Military hospital

Source: WGR-AM

‘You could tell as Lindy Ruff and his team came through the door how much they appreciated the team’s visit. Ruff said, “This means a lot. To see people that help look after our country and help look after most Americans, to see some of the wounded soldiers. It’s gut wrenching to hear some of the stories, really their teammates that were involved in the same type of accidents, it makes you realize that we’re pretty fortunate.” Ruff continued, “The part that’s nice is to go and say thank you and I’ve said all along, this is going to be the best part of our trip irregardless of the games we have to play, we’ve dealt with what we dealt with in our country and they’re over here serving for us it’s just a way to say thank you.”’
