'Jackman's goal put Florida ahead 2-1 less than a minute into the third period. Nathan Horton brought the puck down the ice to the right circle, then backhanded to Jackman, who put the puck past Miller for his first goal of the season.'
‘Miller, the Sabres’ star goalie, has created the Steadfast Foundation, a not for-profit organization whose focus will be helping those in need of specialized medical coverage. The template for his foundation, Miller said, will come from such successful organizations as Carly’s Club and Kelly for Kids Foundation, both of which focus on pediatric medical issues. Miller’s father, Dean, will run the foundation.’
'"You don't grow up thinking you're going to have a T-shirt made with your name on it or your picture on it," Miller said. "It's kind of surreal when you think about it, or when we open fan mail. When I was a kid I was writing those letters. Sitting there, it's stuff that brings a smile and you try and enjoy."'
'Florida is 2 for 22 on the power play in the past two games.'
