Ruff takes solace knowing his team has not given up this season. Nobody has quit, he said. I do not think there has been more than two or three nights where I have been really disappointed in the club, and I do not know there are many clubs in the league that can say that.

One night after proving they could play with the best teams in the Eastern Conference, the Philadelphia Flyers were unable to handle the worst.
'Satan was asked if he would request a trade this summer if it looked like he would have to endure another season without the playoffs before the expected work stoppage. He didn't rule it out. "I'm going to give it a lot of thought after the season's over. Then I'll make some decisions," Satan said. "I just want to finish the season and then see what starts happening over the summer.
