I write to you sad and discouraged once more not only because of the Sabres' six-game non-winning streak, or Lindy Ruff's idiocy, or Jason Woolley and Brian Campbell's scratches, or Buffalo's disgusting loss to Columbus, or Rochester's franchise-low 12-game non-winning streak from the start of the season, or countless other mindless Sabres' screw-ups, but because I was wrong.

It wasn't too long ago when I said that although the Sabres were struggling, they had gained the ability to come from behind and win games. Well, they have now forced me to eat my words.
