Swedesessed Posted January 27, 2007 Report Share Posted January 27, 2007 We all know the Sabres have been struggling now for over a month, and IMO the 7-2 record in shootouts has inflated the team's record a tad. The 05-06 Sabres were better IMO...No Dumont, Grier, McKee this year has hurt...plus no Tim Connolly. If the Sabres want to drink from Lord's Stanley, I am getting the feeling this team needs to go out and did what the Canes did last year: Acquire a vet along the lines of a Recchi or Weight and help boost the offense a bit.
