Barnabov Posted June 21, 2006 Report Share Posted June 21, 2006 Well the season is over and I've got hockey fever bad - only the draft & FA signings to live off for the next few months. Forward corps aside, I think we can all agree that if we do anything via trade/FA, it's going to be on the Defense. So who's out there that you all would like to see us pursue? I saw a couple of interesting names...know a Chara or McCabe probably aren't going to happen but how about Bryan Pothier or Hal Gil? I like Teppo a lot but think he's not reliable health-wise and after the playoff injuries we'll be looking for durability. Kubina is out there too but will probably be too expensive - seems like a lot of the other UFAs are expensive but I hope there are some Lydman type pickups around - Regier for all the criticism we give him does seem to sniff out the apple in the manure pile more often than not.
