BRH Posted May 10, 2006 Report Share Posted May 10, 2006 We won the first game in Ottawa, and the last two games against Philly, without Hecht. We won the second game in Ottawa without Connolly. At various times during the season we have won consistently without Hecht, Connolly, Dumont or Briere -- or without some combination thereof. We have won with Kalinin either out or working his way back into playing shape. We were less successful when we lost Numminen for a couple of weeks during the regular season and for two games against Philly. THAT is the guy I do not want to lose. You never want to lose anyone, but the fact is that our forward depth is such that missing one or two of them still gives us plenty of options.
