topshelfcookies Posted March 17, 2006 Report Share Posted March 17, 2006 After winning two different brackets last March, I was excited to once again try to dominate some friends and family members. However, while I know it's early, I'm near dead last in 3 of my bracket pools. I've been thinking, what gives? Even when I was filling out my selections, I realized that I know absoultely nothing about the majority of teams, until it finally dawned on me why I was having so much trouble. IT'S THE SABRES' FAULT! With no hockey last year, and 3 previous seasons of a boring, bad team, I was paying little attention to the NHL in general, and watching baskeball and reading stories instead of looking for every possible article about the Sabres on the internet, and "wasting" (haha) my time on great sites like this one! Screw you Buff-a-lo! You're costing me this March! Of course, I'm also loving every minute of it. Is anyone else having this problem this season? Two or less Posted March 17, 2006 Report Share Posted March 17, 2006 Watching Syracuse lose last night was much easier then usual, usually it stinks, but last night, even when they lost and GMac only scored 2pts, all i kept talking about to friends was the 5v3 PK or the Grier goal!!
