wildcat48 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Share Posted December 19, 2008 Tonight?s Pirates game postponed; Tarkir joins Portland Pirates head coach Kevin Dineen has signed defenseman Zach Tarkir from South Carolina to a PTO because of injuries and call ups to the Sabres within the last day. Tarkir, 24, has played in 22 games with the South Carolina Stingrays, scoring 10 points (2g, 8a) with 27 penalty minutes. He also has a plus-12 rating, which is good enough for third in the ECHL.
