After all of the trades were made, do the Sabres still have a first round draft for this year and next year? If they do, I am just completely amazed by Darcy. With all of the moves he has mad in the past, how can anyone doubt he's ability as a GM. If Darcy isn't the best in the NHL, he definitely ranks in the top 3. slapshot1619 Posted February 28, 2007 Report Share Posted February 28, 2007 The sabres do NOT have a 1st rounder this year as they dealt it to Washington in the Zubrus deal. But assuming they make it far into the playoffs it will only be a few spots of a drop as Philly should have a very high pick in the second round which they received from Philly in the Marty Biron deal.
