I think the Texans can take this game. Baltimore hasn't looked like much this game so far.

You can make a case that the Dolphins took a step back this year.
Last year, wild card team. This year Wild card time.
Last year, forced to play with a backup QB and still were within a couple points of defeating the Bills on the road.
This year, have their starting QB and losing soundly, almost a blowout loss, to KC on the road.
Last year's Bills were worn out and basically a dead fish.

Gonna be KC @ Bills next week

Heard that Hochul is declaring a state of emergency in Erie County as of 9AM tomorrow. Anybody know if that will affect the Sabres game getting played tomorrow night?
Declaring state of emergency helps get the crews out on the roads to keep them clear enough to play the Bills Steelers game.

It's only 2ft if you are in that really small band of lake effect snow.

Just saying it's nearly impossible for this team to win 3 in a row.

Find a way to get 6 more points
VAN L
SJS W
CHI W
TBL W
We'd then be at 46pts in 46 games
That makes the path rather simple, to make the playoffs you need to be about 14 pts over your games played. It wouldn't be easy by any means but a hot streak would literally put us right back into the thick of things.
That seems to require 3 wins in a row...

Agree. I would have felt a lot more comfortable if the Bills could run their offence unhindered by the weather and TJ Watt out.
Should be an easy game for the Bills on Sunday. The Steelers are hot garbage without TJ Watt

If I were a marketing person at the Sabres or even the owner, I'd be worried about the age of the fan base.
Unless all the kids are on Sabres Tock Tick.
That's the problem most kids have tiktok brain.

Only 2 games... so I would describe them as "Fools gold" right now. Looks good from far away but once you start looking at the team as a whole you just need to sit back and keep mining till you see the real thing.

Of four ways to get in, two are now gone. Only the Jacksonville game and our own left. Very good chance that tomorrow will be win for the #2 seed or lose to miss the playoffs (ok, ok, a tie would get the #6.)
The only thing that ever mattered was the Sunday night game. Nothing else matters.
The Bills have been in playoff mode for weeks now so nothing has changed for them.

Weather for Sunday night, 65 and mostly cloudy, 18% chance of rain. Perfect football weather!

Youngest team in the league won't be winning all the time. Granato and Adams should be allowed A LOT of leeway to try and figure this thing out. Losing sucks, but overreacting and firing everyone, trading away great young players and taking on some expensive vets is not the answer, IMO, Just sit back, say, "It is what it is" and get use to more losing for the time being and let this cake bake.
How many years you gonna say "It is what it is"?

Well if it takes you 10 years to start from scratch than you are just cursed and nothing will change it. That should not be the case in today's NHL, the Sabres are an anomaly.
