IMO, this is what you should have said initially. He wasn't "bad" for the past 1.5 seasons. He'd had games and even windows of time where he was a true 1 WR.

Over that same 1.5 seasons, he had a 7/110+ line against Miami in that wildcard game. He stunk out loud against the Bengals, as did the entire team, really. This past season, he was definitely a non-factor. Did he drop a ton of passes in the playoffs? He definitely dropped one biggie. I think that was the straw that broke the camel's back and prompted the team to move on.

F'sho. We need him to continue to be that guy in 2024.

It took some doing, but I FTFY.

You ran out of narrative facts?

Diggs became a cancer who would rather go to Coachella instead of being with his team.

No, I meant what I typed upthread.

I'm not here to stump for the guy. I am, however, here to ask for fairness and accuracy when people proffer facts. I get the sense you're not into those things.

8 100 yard games in the past 25 games is not good for a guy who was supposed to be the number 1 WR. The facts are real he disappeared in the playoffs and dropped a ton of passes. Shakir outperformed Diggs down the stretch. I guess you don't like facts when they don't support your narrative.

You want another fun fact, Digg's saw less and less double teams as those twenty five games went on.

Fans may have nothing to do with the outcome, but their reactions to the outcome can be (and often are) very embarrassing.

Not really b.c they are reacting to the entertainment.

Actually, it’s like the people who made one of the worst TV shows in history, making fun of a show that got canceled after 7 seasons.

Trying to rationalize this as just having an objective opinion of a failed franchise is pathetic.

The Leafs are better than the Sabres. You have no leg to stand on.  People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.  How many more cliches do I need to reference?

I don't play for the Sabres so I can stand on both legs. There is only one thing that is pathetic and it's the guy who keeps coming here to get angry at others b.c they hate themselves and their team. It's entertainment, get over it.

You must hate that I don't get angry about the Sabres being bad. I make fun of them for being a horrible franchise but this is all in good fun in the end. Maybe take things that you cannot control a little less serious.

Well, to be fair, the Bills were already flawed at the WR position before letting their top 2 guys go this offseason, and they have an elite QB in his prime, and this draft was allegedly rich in WRs -- so it's not irrational to have wanted them to stock up at the position.

The Bills only really need 1 WR to replace Diggs who has been bad for the past year and a half.

Imagine making fun of a team who gets farther than your team every year, has better players and has better fans.  Imagine that.

Fans have nothing to do with the teams themselves or how the teams do in the playoffs. So again you are just being weird.

It's like being angry that some people make fun of bad TV shows as if they were the ones who created it.

OK, the Leafs suck, love watching them lose, yada yada yada.  I feel the same way.  But at least they make the playoffs.  Until we do too, this is all a little embarrassing.

Embarrassing? The fans aren't the ones playing the games. So how could it be Embarrassing making fun of a team that cannot get to the second round?

Imagine being embarrassed over something that you have no control over... weird.

I would agree Adams is on the hot seat but you have to also take into account the players he's drafted. He gets a lot of good ones, including players like Peterka who he traded up to get. You can debate who is really responsible but it's Adams who takes the fall if they aren't good, right?

Meanwhile this came in my email today...

Nice letter and all but the only thing that matters is he wins. Sabres are at the point where these little PR things just don't matter.

Yeah all the Bills actually need to do is get in. Until someone actually dethrones us in the division, I’m not worried about it.

The only people saying reset are the ones that don't like what the Bills did b.c it wasn't what they wanted.

Weird response. They have a bunch of dead cap they need to clear. Next offseason then can go superbowl again. That's just reality.

Reality is they will be contending this year just like all the other years. That is the truth, this reset thing is just more made up bunk by people that are trying to cope with losing over the hill players.

Do what you need to hit that copium bud but don't think your "reality" is the truth.

Coleman is a very interesting pick.  Could be a beast of a player.  We will find out in the next few years, he is only 20 years old.

TBD went wacko at the pick, the many wannbe GMs that read all the draft propaganda seem to have wanted everyone else.

Some are still pushing for Franklin, who was passed over by 32 GMs for 100 picks.   Maybe the experts know something?  Or maybe Franklin will still be a good player?

NHL draft is much more of a science than the NHL draft, the players are older and the NCAA competition is more uniform, but still there are errors every year in every round.

Who knows if it's real but only a few ways you fall down every teams draft board.
