He got off to a sluggish start, but as he's become acclimated he's playing a big role in these wins. He will be a useful player here.

Mitts has been very good the past month or two.

A lot of this bad defense is common sense stuff that our guys just aren't learning/doing. We really need a coach that can teach these guys the basics. If they play even average defense, this is a very dangerous team.

Honestly, as poorly as we played in the third, it's a minor miracle to get 2 points. It felt like we spent the whole period in our zone.

He tracks the puck freakishly well and his recovery speed/reflexes already look borderline elite. He just needs the game to slow down a bit for him, which coming right from college is to be expected, and work on his rebound control. He's gonna be a stud.
