Under Housley this team has gone from #1 on the power play to 30th. And they certainly aren’t playing fast or with speed as he promised before the season. This team is on life support. Hope Botterill doesn’t just continue to sit on his hands.

So, do we still think it was coaching that was the problem? I wasn't a big Bylsma fan but maybe we see it wasn't him it's the team.

There just is little talent on this team. And the ones who are most talented just don’t do enough to justify their high salaries

I like what the Bills are doing. I liked their draft this year and like that they stockpiled picks for next year's draft. At least they seem to have a plan.

 

The Sabres don't really have an identity. It isn't clear what sort of team they're trying to build. It's just random collection of mis-matched pieces that don't fit together.

I agree. The Bills are doing it right. The Sabres already had their tank and supposedly rebuilt team but it’s not working. Pegula is being consistently let down by the GMs and Coaches he hires.

I don’t know how the Sabres spin this loss. They just aren’t a good team. They need to fix this and fast. I’m telling you if this continues I don’t see how Housley survives thru Nov 1, Thanksgiving at the latest.
