If we don't win this game, need to be some serious evaluation of the rebuild. The Toronto Friggin Maple Leafs???? As Brad May pointed out during a game last season (I believe) we just beat the Leafs constantly and all the time; they were our b@#$%. And in the 3rd season of a rebuild, with a big money coach on the sidelines, the Sabres better still be in charge tonight or heads should roll!
No matter what happens I don't think heads will roll. I don't think Pegs wants to be the owner of an NHL team and an NFL team and had to fire both coaches. Don't speak well to his credibility.

Some of the most veteran OC have no clue what they are doing. See Greg Roman. I'll worry about it when they throw 30 yard passes on 4th and 1.

Middle of the pack team at best. I love Jack but he's not in the same league as McDavid. McD takes over the game. Jack makes the Sabres a better team. I want to see more of the youngins from ROC on the big club and less of the guidance counselors older players. Oilers did that and now are coming out of the storm.
At this point what is there to lose, season is quickly passing by.
I think Jack has the ability to be up there with McDavid, or at least close, but I feel he is being held back by this jerk we have for a coach.

Look into toronto's AHL coach, I've heard some good things. In general, just look for a better system.
Laviolette looks to much like Warren on Andy Griffith. That wouldn't work but hey, how about Grapes?

Casey Fitzgerald made Team USA. Will Borgen made it last year and has been one the NCAA's most consistently solid D the last 2 seasons. Guhle looked solid again in his debut with the Sabres.
We literally have no real prospect in the AHL, unless Nelson learns to play D. All three are likely to turn pro after this season. It should be interesting to see how they develop over the next couple of seasons. McCabe and Pysyk benefited from their time in the AHL.
So what do we do to bridge the gap until these guys are ready?

You said it. Bylsma (if I call him coach I throw up in my mouth) has no clue about what he is doing. He is holding this team back in the worst way. He needs to be gone NOW!
