  1. *For People who dont read the trade speculation thread*

    https://twitter.com/TSNBobMcKenzie/status/689968007234371586?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

When the Tampa Bay Lightning assigned Jonathan Drouin to Syracuse it was explained the purpose of the assignment was twofold; (1) conditioning due to missed games from injury and (2) provide proof that he had completely recovered from his injury. Jonathan has now played seven games with Syracuse in the past (14) days.

A few days ago, the Tampa Bay Lightning advised that a trade involving Jonathan was moving closer to completion. We proposed to Tampa that Jonathan not play in the next few AHL games but continue practicing with the club to avoid any potential injury from preventing an imminent trade. Unfortunately, the Tampa Bay Lightning refused this reasonable request, however, Jonathan was not willing to accept this risk. We have been advised that the Tampa Bay Lightning has suspended Jonathan.

In light of the latest developments it is clearly in both sides best interests that the Tampa Bay Lightning trade Jonathan as there is no reason for Jonathan to continue with the Tampa Bay Lightning organization in any capacity. We will have no further comment as we await the Tampa Bay Lightning to conclude a trade that involves Jonathan

  2. I don't believe in playing the lottery, I fully consider it a tax on people who can't do math. I see how much people spend on lotteries only to win nothing, while considering how many more tangible things they could have if they spent the money on say, new windows. It's insane.

I bought 5 lines for the last drawing, and another 5 for this one. Somewhere approaching a billion is where I stop caring how unlikely it is and just want a shot.

Edit: anyone else prefer the payments over the cash value, assuming there's not something crazy like 50 winners? I pride myself on being pretty financially responsible, but I like the idea of needing to be an idiot for 30 straight years to be bankrupt.

It's stupid to not take the lump sum. Kevin O'Leary was on the news and he was explaining why you always go lump sum.

I dont remember everything he said but basically theres to many loop holes and ways to get screwed over.

Soooo just to pee on the parade a bit. Does everyone understand what you take home if you pick "cash value" (btw whoever came up with this teem needs a ###### dictionary) Before uncle Sam even looks at your winnings, it's 750 million. Then after the gov't gets their portion, you get about 300-400 million. A nice payday no doubt but it amazes me how many people don't know this.

Actually the current projections are 697.5 Million, but if no one gets all the numbers tonight I think it will get way higher. I think even more people will start buying the tickets if this happens.

  3. Does anyone else know a group putting in money to buy a lot of tickets?

A buddy of mines work had employees chip in, and together they bought over 100 ticks.

If they win they will divide the money between the workers.

  4. If I won the PowerBall I would buy a couple of suites at arena for all my brothers and sisters here at Sabre Space :flirt:

I honestly have no clue what I would do with 900 Mil, I would Retire, buy a pretty good sized house (Im not into Mansions), Buy a Yacht, buy a small apartment in either NYC or Boston and maybe a summer home in Florida, and a jet.

So lets say the jet costs 400,000

a pretty nice house in like Pittsford for lets say 350,000

my apartment/office in prime location in big city 150,000

    Florida house: 500,000

Yacht, Lets say I splurge 20 mil

    Retirement

That comes out to: only like 24 million.  What the would I do with that money, give some to charity!? Ha, no.

  5. Il make my own script

Sabres Vs Canucks game 7 in Vancouver

RJ: Sabres down by two with 18 ticks left, Buffalo wins the faceoff and Lehner goes sprinting towards the bench, Gionta is the extra attacker.

Kane gets it to EICHEL SCOORRREESS YIKEL!!! JACK EICHEL!!! EICHELS BLAST PAST MILLER CUTS THE LEAD IN HALF WITH 12 SECONDS LEFT!

Ray: Incredible shot by Mikel their... This Buffalo team isnt done here yet, Weber was on the bench for that but wow, that guy is gutsy.

RJ: Vancouver wins the faceoff and get the puck into Buffalo's zone, Ristolainen takes it away, gets it over to O'Reilly who brings it in over the blue line,

6 seconds, 5, passes it to Moulson, to O'REILLY SCOREESSSS!!!!! ROR shot hits a defenders stick and goes into the net past miller! WOW! DOUBLE WOW!

Ray: And it looks here like Desjardins is going to challenge this because O'Reilly was definitely off sides here, this ones coming back folks.

    ****8 Minutes Pass****

REF: After review we have a good goal.

    Crowd: BOOOOOOO "NO GOAL!"

Ray: Lets take a live look at the fans in FNC, and man are they going nuts. These Sabres have been gaining momentum this entire 3rd.

RJ: Wow, he definitely appeared to go off sides folks but the call is going to stand.

Ray: This entire sequence goes back to Webers gritty play..

RJ: 3, 2 ,1 and were headed to ooooooooovvvvvverrrrrttiimme in game 7 of the 2016 Stanley Cup Finals

RJ: Vancouver wins the faceoff and Edler with a blast from the blue line that goes past of the shoulder of Lehner....... 3 seconds into overtime and the Canucks are your 2016 Stanley Cup Champions.

Ray: These guys played so gritty, im sure they will be back next year.

    Did I do this wrong z-man? :P

  6. Since nobody won, does my ticket become like a rain check and I can use it for the next one?

False, tickets are only good for one drawing. Atleast I think, yesterday was my first ticket...
