Not a lot - but we do.
My general recollection is that he occasionally drops in, flames someone, derides a Sabrespace iconoclast, and then peaces out. To me, there's an underlying vibe that he's benevolently amused by how dumb most of our content is and that he feels we should be grateful that he's posting. Me no likey that vibe.

NFL hates Buffalo and would move us to Austin in a heartbeat. Especially as the team is good and the city would embrace a good team out of the gate.
Funding stadiums is also a total scam.
Enjoy the Bills while we can
It’s just business.

Having a seat at the table will have a price; no doubt. How loyal will the “hometown” Kim be?

Can you block a guy like this though?
…maybe for a couple years.

Okpso may be obvious but I wonder, does anyone think the Latvian Locomotive may have a resurgence this year? A lot of SS ordained him at one time. Girgs may have a bigger role this year.

If the Sabres can get a top line prospect, a 1st round draft pick and a cap dump…let this be over.

I’m in the camp that believes the Sabres want to pass liability for any cold steel healing on to John’s new team.

D-F-L. There’s no shining this turd. KA is crushing the young talent we do have.

We had a GM that swung, missed, and kept swinging: TM. that's all I was saying.

At this point it’s at least 50/50 that he starts the season in Buffalo.
I’ll buy that. I think KA has found out a broke Jack isn’t worth “Jack”. He may have to show he’s recovered to get out of Hockey Heaven.

Another advantage of drafting this many Russians is that when they come over they can do so as a group. The culture shock can be tough on one guy but a few can support each other.
I agree. Isn’t this like an old rule or guideline? You can’t have just one.

I loved the Sunday Courier Express, and Charlie Barton was the best hockey writer, bar none!
Loved the Sunday paper. Ahhh yes, sports writing before Twitter and clickbait.

I wonder how much they convinced themselves they were going to get McDavid, and the sting of that kind of lurking around. Maybe it bristled Jack and thus always doomed from the start. TM's reaction on Lotto night always irked me still does to this day. They just seemed so convinced - like you have to be saying going into the season and then the Lotto - look, we're going to get a great player. We have stock piled picks and assets to start a new era. Eichel or McDavid, it doesn't matter he's just one piece albeit an important one.
I'm just mussing out loud here trying to figure out how it all went wrong.
In reality it was a bunch of things stacked up on each other.
This era has been our Big Short.

You do you. If you want to be excited, whose to tell you no?
For me, it’s hard to compare UPL vs Portillo vs Levi right now. UPL has the best “pedigree “ but his results haven’t actually been great. Other two have really good results but limited playing time. A full season from each will hopefully go far towards making the situation more clear.
I’m hoping UPL takes another step forward this year. I think this will be his second season after the hip surgeries he had? If his training is going well, I’ll be optimistic.

Not surprising the movie is a comedy because this organization is a joke.
Our relationship with the team has certainly become dysfunctional. How much more can we give and get nothing in return?

I loved that movie when I was a kid. Here's a clip that reminds me of this board the last couple of days.
One of my favorites too. And yes…the fans of Sabrespace.
