I believe #23 has something to do with that shift in hatredI've lost an edge - the edge of Stafford-rage. I wouldn't be angry if he stays, I wouldn't be angry if he leaves. :)

Ha! so true, yet sad all at oncegood news is he should be available next off season.....
-
Outstanding "Bull-$#!T" chant in the pats game just now. That was fun to hear
-
So,g an article on PHT and get down to the comments. Mainly all bruins fans saying how good of a guy Thornton is and this was just one bad play in the moment......isnt that the same thing our fans have said which got ripped apart for(trashing scott, the sabres, us as fans and Buffalo altogether)
-
Wonder how Milbury spins this with it being his team....or even that its orpiks fault....Wouldn't be surprised If the next show he just says nothing really and brushes the question away

I like the idea of JBJ and a group owning the Bills. Mainly because currently the Rogers group have the upperhand in that respect. I could definitely see, under Rogers ownership, the one Toronto game becoming the one Orchard Park game the new Toronto team has as a yearly 'throwback'. I honestly worry about that.

So reports say the 9ers will waive Nnamdi this week. Keeping in mind our luck this year with DB's and he only makes vet minimum, who think hes worth a flier?
-
I think I read somewhere the pick for this year would be 10-25, so maybe this means we have the power to defer as well. If the pick is that low. Idk, wishful thinking probably. Could you imagine next years draft(2015) with 2 firsts and 3 seconds

Im glad Van got outa here before having to wear that gold monstrosity

Im good with this. At least we got a return at all, all things**cough**Darcy**cough** considered.

I don't believe I knew you back in my teens...lol, in any case I think its mainly when we see someone who has great potential AND has shown flashes at times, gets paid as if he will become that great version, and turns to a turd sandwichDon't forget Hecht, until he signed for like $1M, and folks no longer expected him to play top six. And be careful with everyone. I only hated Connolly on that list.
Maybe that's the formula for whipping boy? Most under-performing top six player? Or maybe I should check the stats; maybe it's highest dollars per point or something.
There are some advanced stats that indicate that, even last year, Stafford is far from the biggest dingleberry on the team.
-
Connolly, Kotalik, Afinogenov, Kalinin.....makes it easier to deal with these teams failing when hate can be given a face I suppose ( I personally was always a huge fan of Max, but clearly remember everyone I knew hating on him)You know as well as I do that once a player reaches whipping boy status, this is what happens. Once Stafford goes it'll just be someone else.

No matter how this ends, this is incredible for thad. All things considered I never expected this kind of game

The Bills top 4 CB didn't play
Take Gilmore away though, are you comfortable with their top 3? McKelvin as a starter (1 or 2) is not fun to think about.
-
After seeing how real 3rd QB's play, there's no way we can let tuel get away now. Even if we bite the bullet and carry 3 qb's for this year, we need to keep him around. Also, how many waiver wire cornerbacks does everyone think we'll snag Saturday? They were pitiful tonight

Vinny looks weird in that Philly jersey. Gonna take some getting use to.
He almost looks like he's about to hurl. Philly gets too real when that jersey goes on
-
So. 2006 draftee vince young fails to make the team. Now we have leinart. At least young had some sort of positive nfl experience. I regret all the crap I said to friends about wanting kolb to get hurt now

The most embarrassing thing about all of this is how the umps are such divas. Watch how animated the ump is with his warnings to both benches. These guys act like people are there to watch them, but they're actually even more hated than the opposing team. Just imagine if a ref in any other league acted the way baseball umps do.
Like if a ref were to grab a smaller player, who had just taken a cheap shot, and throws him to the boards? That was classy ref work on Gerbe

Kolb's looking to be an expensive 3rd string qb right now
-
Anyone watch the Hall of Fame game and see Miami's left tackle situation? Kind of cheered me up a little. Mike Wallace'll be useless with only 2 seconds to get open
-
The Devils must be okay with this as they voided his deal. In the long run it helps them get away from that ridiculous contract. http://www.nhl.com/i...vid=DL|NHL|home
True. But I doubt, given their current scoring depth, they really wanted rid of that contract. Ive been a devs fan since 8( Stevens will always be my idol) and I have to say this summer is incredibly depressing on both fronts.
-
I remember reading somewhere that the NHL and KHL honor each others' contracts. Could there be an issue upcoming with that? Like will the KHL team that lands him need to buy out the contract/pay off the Devs?
