8 goals is a great thing. A trick for Pyatt (who would have predicted 3 goals all year, let alone in a game?), but it's a damn good thing they're playing the Crapitals, or they'd be losing bad. Defense anyone ?? No? didn't think so. Goaltending anyone? no as well? guess not. Back over .500 though, so that's a good thing. Trip to Boston coming up and they're still playing almost as poorly as the Sabres, so it SHOULD be a win. GO SABRES !!!!!!!

Wonder if they will change the Dumont goal to a Briere goal? That would put him only 1 back of Jagr for the league lead. During the intermission, they were saying it might be changed. Of course Heatley had 4 for the hated Senators this evening.

It's a shame that the Islanders aren't out the schdule 8 times this season. At the very least the Power Play stats would be padded.

Some things NEVER change. Zhitnik in the box again late in the game. At times like this, I don't miss having him on the team. I'm listening on NHL Radio so I'm not seeing anything, but how nice that Danny Briere went at Satan earlier in the game. You just got to love a guy that backs up his disdain for a guy in the media by punking him on the ice.
