didn't the sabres also beat washington or New York Rangers like 8-0 last new years eve that hockey was played? Not that its that important but it was pretty decicive victory... i enjoyed it.

im pretty sure its 5-0 Sanjose final right? Well im not sure what happend here. did goaltending take a night off or was it the team... ah well im not too upset... only at the wasted crowd... in reality we had a hell of a run and if we win the next game were back at it... the worst would be to lose 3 in a row now

well i think we need to win 2 more games out of 3 or 4 to meet lindy's predictions, so i'll be happy if those predictions are reached.

I dunno, a groin injury is definitely not something you want to play through, no matter how good you feel about it, you ARE aggrevating it.
hmmm i guess you guys have a point... still i think 2 lousey shots could have been had... but i guess its not worth injurying further just to get an extra point... but it would have been if we miss by a point or 2 at the end.

So what are you saying? That Ruff should force a guy who's injured to keep playing? Are you some kind of sadist? What if Norenen let in all 3 goals, then you found out Ruff kept him in when he wanted to be taken out? I'm sure you would be defending Ruff then, right?

noronen would have told ruff if he was injured right away... but i guess it is a groin injury... however at the time it was unknown... looked like another 'personal' attack on noronen by ruff.

ok i didn't even realise he changed the goalie for the shoot out until i read it here.... WTF is that... ok RUFF is the sabres fans public enemy NO.1............ and hes on OUR team.... this is getting ridicilious already... Man... Jagr must have been laughing when he saw noronen skating for the bench... same with nylander or whoever else took the penalty shots... just plain laughing.... who does this!

Good game tonight but the lack of finishes worries me as well... i guess if they are able to finish early when they make an effort if gives them confidence and energy but if they can't then they just get frustrated and give up... its wierd... agreed about the ruff scoreing jinx... enough is enough that guy needs to get canned... no one gets away with 3 losing seasons and still has a job to speak of...
Im sorry im pulling negetive points out of nothing... tonight is a positive... GO SABRES GO keep it up boys!
