  1. MARK SCHEIFELE is a Kitchener boy.  R we on his 10 team no-trade list and would he want to come play closer to his home town?  A veteran centre would give our young pivotmen an additional year to develop

Afterall, we do have a #55 jersey hanging in the closet just collecting dust.

I'm a big fan of Bryson; I think that despite his size he's a highly skilled, versatile D-man.  If Kevyn is set on bringing in a RHD I could see where a team that has too many RHD and perhaps trying to get younger (are there any?) might accept Bryson as the major return for an experienced RHD.  Such a trade would be beneficial for both teams and give Bryson an opportunity to be something more than a 7D; I think he's certainly capable of being a mid-pairing guy if he has the right partner.

Any chance Minny would trade Dumba for Bryson+?

    Throw in Mitts!!!

He will be moved to the highest bidder and the Sabres have the pieces.

Seth Jones went for roughly the equivalent of two 1sts and Adam Boqvist.

Are you prepared to give up, say, Rosen, Peterka and next year’s 1st for another LHD?

Not Peterka but I'd be willing to part with Rosen.  I'm just looking to add better players regardless of how they shoot.

  4. Would anyone reach out to the Coyotes and ask about Jakob Chychrun?  I know he's a LD but i was not happy when we didn't draft him when we could've.  Would #37, the Vegas 1st round pick, and something in next year's draft or another young player begin the conversation with the Coyotes.  He seems to fit KA's mold - good young player who is under control for the next couple years at a reasonable salary.

How much are the wings at Skips per pound? That’s almost walking distance from my house.

Just over $5.00 last time I was there.  They are big and really work well on the grill.

  6. I buy my wings from Skips on the Ridge in Rochester and grill them at home; usually get 7 or 8 per pound.  The grilling renders off the fat and the wings get nice and crispy.  I paint them just before they're done and then leave them on the grill for a few more minutes to set the sauce.  My favorite way of eating wings now.  I too was a guy that could easily crush a double order.

In the old days, we'd get 10 cent a wing at Peter K's on Harlem Rd. in Cheektowaga - those wings kicked a$$!

  7. So,  I like Pilut and thought he'd be a capable NHL dman.  I wonder what KA thought of the way JB botched the negotiation with Pilut???  I wonder if PIlut has an out in his KHL contract and if KA likes him enough to reach out.  I want to make this team's forwards better and would like to think we could move Montour and Risto in a couple deals to bolster our scoring if we knew Pilut could come back.  I think Pilut is an above average skater and passer and would like to see him back in the B&G.

If you had a choice between trading for Danault or Domi which player would you deal for?  Factoring in the selection would be the cost for the deal and the contracts carried now and in the future for each player. My sense is that Krueger does not like players who freelance compared to responsible two way players. Skinner seems to be a less favored Krueger player because he is more inclined to float.. Maybe Danault would be a more favored target by the Sabre braintrust?

Domi also brings physical play too.  Something this team sorely lacks.
