Exactly. Everyone needs to keep a deep breath and relax. As I've said before and I'm sure I will have to say a few more times. It's an 82 game season. There are going to be ups and downs. We're on a down right now. The important part is to make the ups last longer than the downs.

2 thoughts. 1. It was really obvious that the Sabres were playing their 2nd game in 2 nights. 2. I agree with everyone that Marty played a good 50 minutes. But late in the game when his team needed him, he was not there. Turn the pressure up, and he disappears.

And what about when Kotalik got tripped after finishing his check? Max's hit was technically interference, but how often does that get called when they are that close to the puck?

I'll still take 35 saves on 36 shots.

I thought the puck movement on the PP was good, and they generated a couple of quality scoring chances. Khabibulin made some big stops. No goals, but they look improved on the PP.

I don't mind soft goals, they happen. It's just the timing of Marty's soft goals. Toronto was beat tonight, they looked out of it. Marty lets that one in, and they came back to life for the last 5 minutes.

Marty looked very good at times, but that third goal is very typical of him. Letting in one he should have had on a crucial situation. One of the main reasons I have never been a big fan of his.

No kidding. They need to knock it off with holding calls every time the hand comes off the stick. Teppo's free hand was nowhere near the guy.

And if he keeps it up he can at least make his SV% look respectable.

I still fail to see how starting Marty would've sparked the team. Unless he could clear the puck on the first PK and QB the PP...

I was frustrated to see Moore get the goal after his Oscar worthy performance.
