That's a name being floated. Baker and Fairburn said as bad as the Sabres are, there are people who'd still come here to run the team.

Sabres are an attractive option in that it can't get any worse and one can really make a name for themselves in Buffalo if they get us turned around into a perennial playoff team. It's all about Terry allowing the POHO to do their thing, give him full reign and be in the background.

What we really want is for Terry to hire a (please, God) competent PoHO and then spend money but get out of flippin' the way. And if finances are tight because of the new stadium or what have you, sell some minority stakes in the Sabres. There's probably an easy $400MMM right there.

    Brendan Shanahan?

  3. It starts and ends with ownership. Period.

Terry is a circus clown in NHL circles: Players know it. Agents know it.

The facilities are sub standard. The way players are treated is way substandard. It is a disgrace beyond compare.

What is the fix? Hell if I know at this point, i am out of suggestions or answers.

    Sell Terry. SELL.

And the worst part? SO many of you and other great Sabres fans deserve SO much better. It is painful.

  4. Can the Sabres just designate UPL for assignment, waive him,cut their losses?

I say this because we are at the point soon we need to know what Devon Levi is or isn't. He is 23. It is time soon.

I want that roadblock of UPL gone now.

  5. I voted to lose because I want Adams out now, but then I pause and think: What will losing do when the owner is someone we cant trust that will put the necessary resources back into the organization, and get a sharp Team Prez/GM and hire the right coach, and spend to the cap? I don't see it, so wouldn't it be more of the same?

  6. Here is how it works for me:

Hockey is back, excitement when I see preseason games!

Halloween: Hey we are 7-2-1, drought over!!!

Thanksgiving: Ok, lost 4 of 6, just a bump inn the road we got this!

Happy New Year! After the 2-10-1 stretch, i glide over to Tankathon and start spinning daily and dream of Gavin Mckenna coming to Buffalo.

Late March Early April: 7-2-1 stretch creates a false sense of optimism going into the next season, lose 4 spots in lottery, we pick 9th.

June: Watch low tax market hoist another Stanley Cup, click tweets about Buffalo market out rating the team that actually wins it. Watches Bettman and his cronies deny the tax advantage exists.

    Rinse, repeat.
