  1. I voted to lose because I want Adams out now, but then I pause and think: What will losing do when the owner is someone we cant trust that will put the necessary resources back into the organization, and get a sharp Team Prez/GM and hire the right coach, and spend to the cap? I don't see it, so wouldn't it be more of the same?

  2. Here is how it works for me:

Hockey is back, excitement when I see preseason games!

Halloween: Hey we are 7-2-1, drought over!!!

Thanksgiving: Ok, lost 4 of 6, just a bump inn the road we got this!

Happy New Year! After the 2-10-1 stretch, i glide over to Tankathon and start spinning daily and dream of Gavin Mckenna coming to Buffalo.

Late March Early April: 7-2-1 stretch creates a false sense of optimism going into the next season, lose 4 spots in lottery, we pick 9th.

June: Watch low tax market hoist another Stanley Cup, click tweets about Buffalo market out rating the team that actually wins it. Watches Bettman and his cronies deny the tax advantage exists.

    Rinse, repeat.

Per Alan Pergament at The Buffalo News.

"The Buffalo Sabres are making a key television lineup change next season.

Joe Pinter, who has been producing Sabres’ games since 2002 and has been working for the team for 37 years through when games were carried on WUTV (Channel 29) and WNYO-TV (Channel 49), was told recently that his services are no longer needed.

    Pinter declined comment.

His replacement hasn't been named but the job has been posted.

According to sources, some members of Sabres management believe the television coverage has been too critical.

It is a laughable claim since the team has been on a 14-year Stanley Cup playoff drought  ... ."

If this is the kind of business stuff that Pete G. signs off on, he can go get wrecked as well.

Well I guess we will see more features on the Sabres service dog in 2025-2026

  4. League is a joke.

When you have NHL shills like Elliott Friedman saying 'wow what a job' by these no tax teams, the league is a farce. So if Person A offers me $20.00 and I net $12 from him and Person B offers me $17.00 and I net $14.00, this makes Person B a genius in the commish, and other NHL shills eyes, who deny, deny and deny.

Might be time for the NHL to go the soccer premier route and have the No Tax and big Markets for one Cup, and the other markets compete for something else.

I don't love the trade. I don't totally hate it either. Would I redo it as in try something different, probably, yes. I would rather have seen Peterka traded for a sure thing and I don't think that is what this trade is.

Hopefully a Byram trade is different.

Feel the same exact way. Hate that it took moving a 23 year old Top 6 forward in Peterka to get a RHD who is big and physical. Or maybe that is a reflection of the price of such talent, RHD's with these traits are not super easy to come by.

I think the true assessment of moving Peterka can be made July 26th, not June 26th. Let's see what the Sabres do next.
